May 23, 2026Overall Great experience with some issues
Overall our stay was great. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the resort is beautiful with a great variety of food options and bars. It was not without problems though. Our first problem was the mattress was hard as a rock; it was very uncomfortable. Another problem we encountered was the downright aggressive nature of the Pallidium Travel Club sales people, the Spa employees and the excursion planners. We were approached multiple times a day and it became exhausting constantly saying no. It felt very much like a tourist trap instead of a relaxing get away at times. It was also advertised on the TRS website that we would have access to hydrotherapy daily and that was not the case. It was $60/person for a day pass. There also were no public Bali beds on the beach, all required a reservation of $125/day. The biggest highlight of our stay was our butler Rachel, and bartenders Yuedy and Roberto. They were a big part of why we enjoyed our time here as much as we did. All 3 provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great vacation.

1st time
Only issue was the spa tub in our room was not appealing-looked dirty and the jets had buildup in them—didn’t use it all week and was looking forward to it Would recommend it to others but it didn’t meet my expectation which may have been too high

May 22, 2026Definitely not luxury!/
This was not the luxury experience we were expecting. The hotel and grounds were very nice, but the rooms were dated and had no USB ports, so you need to take plenty of adapters and extension leads, then you have to unplug all the items in the room to plug them in. It is supposed to be all inclusive, but they expect you to join their club to be able to use the more luxury things, which is quite a lot extra. You will get pestered as soon as you arrive by people trying to get you to join the club. The food was quite disappointing and my partner and I both had tummy upsets on and off for the whole holiday. You have to be up early to secure a sunbed and shade as people reserve them from about 6am by just throwing a towel or something on them. The pool area is very noisy with loud thumping music and people clogging up the pool bar being loud and getting drunk, there was even vomit in the jacuzzi on one occasion. Unless you like loud rowdy behaviour this isn't the place for you!!!

Although a beautiful location there is not a lot to do on the resort. Almost all activities were canceled. The food was not good at any of the restaurants to the point we walked out of one because there was nothing on the menu we would eat. Housekeeping did an amazing job with our room and the front staff were extremely helpful.

Great facilities, mixed food
Rooms were incredible, pools were great, every evening event/party we went to was super fun! The dancers were always amazing at every show! The cabaret was definitely worth it, food was great and they danced for like 3 hours straight. Very impressive. Edward our butler was great, super friendly and inviting. Food was mixed. Buffets were very mid, typically warm food not hot. Some restaurants were bad and some were really great. Make sure to book all your reservations your first day you arrive so you don’t get 10pm dinners like we did sometimes. Definitely recommend Kusko & Sumptuori, La Lola & El dorado. Those restaurants were all great! Food was impressive there. Overall would definitely come again. All staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Great experience talking with other guests too.
