Sep 05, 2026Nice Amenties, Great Staff, Not Great Views
The rooms are very nice at the Westin. The service, is excellent, our ice-maker was broken and they brought us ice and had it repaired within 30 minutes. When the remote control stopped working someone was at the room in 10 minutes. Having the air conditioning is important during the summer months, I have stayed at other places in Princeville where there is no air conditioning. But also I have stayed at other places in Princeville that have better views of the water and mountains. If you can request one of the rooms facing the golf course, those give nice mountain also a bit of ocean views.

Rooms are disappointing for the price. Comfortable but outdated. Screen door didn’t work. Even maintenance could not fix it. Our first room had a lovely view of the parking lot. Hotel staff did move us so 4 stars for service. Stay somewhere else.

Great food and atmosphere. The staff was beyond helpful with a variety of needs. Short distance to local eats and shops. Lovely lawn for ocean views

Don’t waste your money. 90+% of rooms are looking at a parking lot or garden. The place is full of families. Pools are over used. And a real pet peeve is why bother going to Hawaii if your hotel is not located on a swim beach. The staff are mediocre and usually unhelpful and unresponsive. The Bellmen were surely and really unhelpful. I had to ask for help about four times. Two guys were just standing there and talking. They really don’t want to be bothered. Housekeeping g once a week is just silly for a hotel! Especially in this price range. If you like hoards of people and few amenities then this is your kind of place. If you are looking g for a real hotel type place. This is not going to be for you imho.

Relaxing vacation
Excellent property in Princeville with all of the amenities for a great family vacation. The staff are very accommodating while providing a very relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this place, as this is our 4th time staying here.
