Fantastic experience at Melia Paradisus resort
The resort was fantastic the service was outstanding. We were vegetarian and chef HUGO of Kaana restaurant made lunch to our request. Fantastic food with variety of flavors Koodos for Melia for having chef Hugo and wonderful staff Just wonderful I recommend Vegiterian to visit and see experience

Amazing anniversary trip!!
We LOVE this resort! Attention to detail is impeccable, super clean with very friendly staff. The pools are beautiful and we opted for the adults-only Reserve as this is our anniversary trip. The beach is gorgeous and well maintained (the sargassum can be an issue here). The food has been very good, although I had reservations as an all-inclusive can have not-so-great food. So far our favorite has been the Flora restaurant (Dominican good), and a close second is El Agave. The bars and drinks have been excellent. The room is beautiful, well appointed and stocked with beverages and snacks. Our concierge, Eriole, has been wonderful and helpful with all of our requests. We will be back!!

May 23, 2026Illicit drugs used by guest next to our room
Awful experience as next door guest smoking cannabis which makes our room, corridor and balcony unbearable to stay in. We reported to the reserve reception as we couldn't take anymore as at this point spoilt our staying. I've asked the reception - lady on the night shift to called the cleaners to spray air freshener to minimise the smells however, still could smells in our balcony due the the couple next door smoking nonstop. The security been called to their room I could see that they refused to open their doors. Next morning the smells worsen yet again we reported and yet again the security been called to issue another warning. Surely in Dominican Republic marijuana is illicit drugs and should not been use in a 5 stars hotel. And we have to reinforced the hotel to do something about to the point that causes extreme stress and inconvenience.
