  So much potential

  My husband attended a conference here for work and I accompanied. The drains were not working in the first room so our shower overflowed. The all inclusive food did not have many options for celiac, which meant we had to go out to eat. Lovely spot to watch the planes arrive. Would not stay again.

  This place has the best coffee and two of the best baristas in st maarten..these two young ladies serve people every day with a smile....Veronica and Sheerline I really enjoyed the the wonderful smile and great personalities..Look forward to visiting you ladies again soon

  Third stay and always excellent!

  We love staying at the Maho Beach resort in Saint Maarten! We have been there three times and it never disappoints. It’s beautiful, clean and the whole resort is really lovely. The people who work at this resort are the kindest friendliest and most accommodating people I have ever met. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the service and friendliness of the following 5 people: Damien, the bartender at Cantina. He has a welcoming and friendly personality and makes delicious drinks. Dante is a server at the buffet and always made sure we were taken care of. Jimmy, the waiter at the Italian restaurant, provided terrific service and made sure that we always had everything that we needed. I’d also like to mention Sharon and Rosemary from the buffet restaurant. They went out of their way to make sure that my son with special needs, received the food that he liked. All of the people I mentioned were excellent at their jobs. I’d also like to mention the gentleman that makes the hamburgers during the day by the pool. He is incredibly efficient and quick at making fantastic burgers. All of the maid staff were friendly and easy to talk to and wonderful at their jobs. The girl who works at the gift shop was very helpful too. We have been to this resort three times because of the people that work there that make it so enjoyable. The accommodations are great. The food is delicious and the views are incredible. We love this resort!

  Big let down

  This place was a total disappointment. Would not return. Chefs here don’t know how to cook. Every meat was dry and bland. Only restaurant worth going was the Italian. Your 2 choices of white wine were nasty. Champagne was good. Only the lobby bar seems to know how to make drinks. The sandwiches at the cafe were a life saver (which is sad). The snack bar never opened on time and the pizza was closed at times without a sign. Pizza was lame anyways. The fries were a joke. The tavern was supposed to have good food & stake fries AND IT WAS CLOSED FOR DINNER the whole week without a heads up either. A few waiters/waitresses would take our order to never be seen again. A handful of employees cared to do their jobs like the bartenders at the lobby bar, lady at cafe, omelet station guy, Rose Mari, Ejayden, Audrey*, & lady managing the buffet 9/3 & 4. Checking in took a long time and there were only 3 small families in front of us and 3 employees at the counter. Shower head, water pressure, & 2 towel hooks were ++. No daily activities and only music sometimes at the main pool. So boring the entire time! Only 2 nights had a music show. Nothing that was on the website match what was going on at the resort (Entertaiment & food). The new pelican roof top was a disaster! Not finished and so lame. The grand opening was 2 1/2 months ago. The beach is pretty & the planes landing were nice but you don’t need to stay here for that. But sewage water gets dumped at the beach and it stinks for hours. They don’t provide beach umbrellas or chairs. Hotel next door does. Mattress was firm and old. Pillows provided no support. They also messed up our room & reason of our celebration. This is not the usual all-inclusive experience. STAY ELSEWHERE and just travel to this strip, you can park free and walk around if you come early. Waste of money & time. Those positive reviews on Expedia were such lies.

  Beautiful Scenery

  I enjoyed the ambious and the natural beauty of Sint Maarten. However, the suite had issues with the air conditioning. The condensation kept my sheets damp and the floors were wét. Beside that it was a nice setup.
