Jun 05, 2026Dissapointing Stay and Service
We had to leave early due to a family emergency. We left two nights early and the General Manager informed me we would be refunded for two nights. I emailed the hotel twice and they have not replied to my emails. I contacted my credit company to file a partial dispute for two nights. This is dissapointing that the hotel has not responded or issued the refund. The rooms in the resort are outdated and dark. There is no sofa only uncomfortable wicker chairs at least in our room. The fan has only one speed - high. Service was slow. Minibar is only restocked when you ask it to be. No snacks like other all inclusive resorts. The restaurants did have good food.

Another wonderful trip to Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana. Jhordany went above expectations to make us comfortable upon arrival. Santa Medina kept our room clean and the refrigerator stocked. Ivanell - best waiter at the buffet. it was great seeing his smiling face every morning. It was also nice to see him again - after our previous trip 2 years before. Modesto and Juan J rounded out wonderful service at the buffet each morning. They also were wonderful servers at Mexican and French restaurants. Rubin ... what can I say. Always ready with the best drinks on the beach and a smile on his face! He also came up with the perfect drink.for an upset stomach!

Amazing Resort
This resort never fails. It's our third time in 9 months and we're already planning on going again. The atmosphere, staff, food and entertainment are all top notch. There's an area for everyone, quiet pool, preferred club pool, lazy river and our favorite, the main pool with the swim up bar and entertainment at certain times. The entertainment group play games around the pool, at the beach and love to talk to the visitors as if they known you for years. Kind and fun. The food options are amazing especially my 3 favorite restaurants, Blue water Grill (great steaks) Oceania seafood and Mediterranean and the number 1 for us Himitsu Asian Restaurant 10/10. Now the bars, Barracuda at the main pool is really good and although it's busy and sometimes because of that you might have to wait, the drinks are good and the barmen look to please. The rooms are very nice and beds are comfortable. You have a mini bar and everything you need. Yeah they might need a little repair here and there but nothing serious. Rooms are extremely clean and if you see anything you don't like they will fix it fast.

Amazing place for a honeymoon!
I fully recommend Secrets Royal Beach to any couple going on their honeymoon. Great atmosphere, amazing food, awesome service and overall memorable experience!
