  A shadow of how good Secrets used to be

  I went to a Secrets resort about 20 years ago. It was excellent. The food was amazing. This resort was a shadow of the earlier one I went to. The food was substandard—not as bad as resorts in Cuba, but disappointing in nearly every specialty restaurant. The air conditioning was solid in the rooms but it was insufficient in every restaurant. I strongly recommend picking a higher end resort.

  10/10 Experience from Start to Finish

  We just got back from celebrating a 40th birthday at Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, and it was truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Our group of six had the most incredible time, and what really made the trip unforgettable was the staff. The service was beyond exceptional—every single person went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, celebrated, and taken care of. Luis was hands-down our favorite part of the trip. His energy, humor, and constant engagement with activities made every day so fun. He truly brought the whole experience to life for us. Daniel and Damian were amazing, and we can’t say enough about the pool staff—Urbano, Nedel, and Julio were so attentive making sure our glasses were never empty, and we always had everything we needed without even asking. Dining was just as impressive. Lusein at Rosewater was fantastic, and Fernando absolutely stood out—we loved him so much that we followed him to whichever restaurant he was working each night. That’s how great he was! Also a special shoutout to Alfredo who served us at Italian and Alondra for adding to such an incredible experience by literally leaving the front desk to track us down at the pool to inform us of some premium services she provided to us. Every staff member we encountered became part of our trip in a meaningful way. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive that delivers on service, fun, and unforgettable memories—this is it. We will absolutely be back!

  The Service at this property will keep us coming back!

  This was our second trip to this property, and it did not disappoint. The property itself is smaller compared to many of the other Secrets Properties and could use a little TLC, but the staff and the food are top notch and exceeds our high expectations. The check in process was quick and we were in our rooms and enjoying the property promptly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool concierge at both Secrets (Daniel and Damian), and Breathless (Victor) were out of this world and treated us like family. Props to the art skills of Daniel and Damian who provided us with towel art that was phenomenal. Victor at Breathless took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect! The restaurants were excellent, from the breakfast buffet to the sit down dinners. Our least favorite meal was at the Strip Grill, but we still did not leave there hungry. Every other restaurant was beyond exceptional! Now for the servers, we could not have asked for better service and these individuals are the reason we will be returning!   Super secrets riviera

  Just back from secrets riviera and have too say what an absolutely brilliant 2 weeks my self & wife had from accommodation too staff too food too cleanliness the place was superb we have been using secrets & breathless hotels for the last 15 years or so secrets wild orchid (2) secrets royal beach (3) secrets playa mujeres (1) secrets Lanzarote (2) secret st James (2) breathless Montego Bay (1) too name a few but have too say secrets riviera has been the best where do I start. On arrival cases took immediately given cold towel & glass of champagne then too too book in between arriving at hotel and getting too room 15min ( superb) the room was immaculate throughout room 3216 perfect for my wife ( due too knee replacements) central too everything Next the hotel itself and breathless which you can use excellent The restaurants Italian , Mexican,French,steakhouse,Asian, and especially rose water restraint situated in secrets hotel food was excellent in everyone of them as for the staff first class new how too look after people super friendly and attentive too your needs perfectly would like too mention especially angelo who looked after us in French & Italian restraints all the other staff where super aswell though no complaints at all ( just too many names too remember)going back too rosewater restraint in secrets used that for breakfast lunch and dinner everything food service staff throughout the 2 weeks looked after us personally and perfectly fire star service from them all would like too mention Jose ; nidal Luiz ; baltizar Alberto Daniel , Damien , Edwin, unbano also every other staff at that restaurant just too many names too we would like too thank you all for your super service throughout the holiday not too forget addy from the spa who did my wife’s facial my wife works in skincare and cosmetics and has said she has never had a facial like it before loved it said too felt superb after it would also like too thank the cleaners who left our room superbly clean everyday and finally we found a new friend in the hotel bar Carlos who was outstanding liked after us brilliantly with his drinks and cocktails which where superb just like too say we have found the perfect cocktail maker and friend thanks Carlos’s as I said we have been too various secrets throughout the years which have all been excellent but secrets riviera Cancun beats them all so much so that my wife wants too go back next year for 3 weeks instead of 2 that’s how much we enjoyed it well worth the 10 hr flight from Glasgow we where gutted when we had too leave just before I forget would like too mention special thank you too Daniel & Damien who everyday had our towels on the same two beds for 2 weeks which where perfect and brolly up ready for us too start the pool day again thanks guys and luiz pool entertainment thank

  Seventh visit

  This is our 7th visit to this resort. Every time is just as awesome as all the times before. Edwin, Roger and Julio make sure we aren’t thirsty at the secrets pool, Santiago and Carlos at the Preferred club bar, Louis on Entertainment team, Daniel and Damian made sure we always had chairs at the pool and made us the most awesome towel art. Wilberth at the Breathless bar, Ivan and Eric breathless entertainment. Manuel at Spoon. Lydia at Exhale club bar. All of these people are what keep us coming back. 10 out of 10 for all of them.
