  Amazing experience and Concierge.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of Our Best Trips to Mexico – Marcelo and Lalo Made It Exceptional! We have traveled to Mexico several times, and without question, this was one of the best trips we have ever had. The resort, beach, food, excursions, and especially the people made this an experience we will remember for a very long time. The resort was absolutely beautiful. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxing and welcoming. The property was gorgeous, the beach was incredible, and the staff throughout the resort were some of the kindest and most attentive people we have encountered while traveling. The food was outstanding. We ate at several different restaurants during our stay, and meal after meal impressed us. The quality, presentation, variety, and service were consistently excellent. Food can sometimes be hit or miss at an all-inclusive resort, but that was absolutely not our experience here. We genuinely looked forward to every meal. The beach and water were incredible, but one of our biggest surprises was the snorkeling. We were able to snorkel literally about two minutes offshore, and it was breathtaking. Having something that beautiful and accessible right from the resort's beach was an experience we weren't expecting and became one of our favorite parts of the trip. We also did an excursion that included Tulum, cenotes, and swimming with sea turtles, and I cannot recommend that experience enough. It was the perfect combination of history, culture, adventure, and the natural beauty of Mexico. Our guide, Lalo, is a huge reason that day was so memorable. Lalo was incredible. He was knowledgeable, personable, enthusiastic, and kept the entire day exciting. He didn't just transport us from place to place. He shared his knowledge, answered questions, explained what we were experiencing, and made the entire excursion feel personal. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great day. If you have the opportunity to have Lalo as your guide, request him. A great guide can completely change an excursion, and Lalo turned an already amazing itinerary into one of the highlights of our vacation. But the person who truly helped set this entire trip apart was our concierge, Marcelo Marin. I cannot say enough good things about Marcelo. From the beginning of our stay until the end, Marcelo was there for absolutely everything we needed. Every question, request, recommendation, or little detail we needed help with, he took care of it. He was incredibly responsive, professional, friendly, and attentive without ever being intrusive. What Marcelo really gave us was something incredibly valuable on vacation: the ability to completely relax. We never felt like we had to chase down an answer, figure out who to talk to, worry about a request, or wonder whether something had been handled. Marcelo simply took care of us. That level of personal service completely changes a vacation. There are beautiful resorts all over Mexico. There are resorts with great beaches and great restaurants. But people are what separate a good vacation from an unforgettable one, and Marcelo is exactly the type of person who makes you want to return to a resort. I sincerely hope resort management recognizes what they have in Marcelo Marin. He represents hospitality at its absolute best and was a major reason our vacation was as relaxing and memorable as it was. The same goes for Lalo. Our day exploring Tulum, visiting the cenotes, and swimming with the turtles was already going to be special, but his personality and knowledge made it exceptional. When we look back at this trip, there wasn't just one thing that stood out. It was the entire experience: The beautiful resort and incredible beach. The snorkeling just minutes offshore. The fantastic meals. Tulum. Swimming in the cenotes. Swimming with sea turtles. The genuinely kind resort staff. An unforgettable day with Lalo. And the exceptional care we received every day from Marcelo. Everything came together perfectly. We arrived expecting a great vacation in Mexico and left feeling like we had experienced something truly special. Hands down, one of our best trips to Mexico. Five stars, without hesitation. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so memorable, and a very special thank you to Marcelo Marin and Lalo. You both played a huge part in making this a vacation we will never forget. We absolutely hope to return!

  25 TIMES AND SECRETS MAROMA IS STILL OUR HAPPY PLACE ❤️

  It is with pleasure to share examples of the exceptional experience we had during our August 2026 visit to Secrets Maroma Beach. This was our 25th visit to Maroma, as always, our experience starts upon arrival. We were met with staff that “welcomes us home”. The staff that assist with our luggage to seeing Carmen in the lobby bar that always remembers our name and even the name of our grand dog “Oliver”. We always have the pleasure of seeing Carmen upon arrival and departure. The check-in process was seamless and the wait for our room was minimal as always. We were greeted in the preferred lounge by our favorite concierge Roberto who made us feel welcome and ensured all of our request were met even before our arrival. Roberto (as always) went out of his way during our entire visit to make sure all our needs were met. With each of our visits, Roberto always remembers the things that made our visits memorable and he never disappoints. From a floor fan, extra hangars, pillows, extra water in the mini fridge, to remembering Birthdays and Anniversaries are just a few examples of Roberto’s attention to detail. Our visit was made special by all of the Maroma staff but we wanted to send a special thanks to a few that took some extra steps to make sure our visit was above and beyond our expectations. Bramdon who always goes out of his way to make sure he had multiple / positive encounters with us. Bramdon has become a special person to us since we’ve known him as a pool concierge. Bramdon’s contagious personality and professionalism has made him one of our favorites. We spent our days at the beach cabanas. Manny and Eder made themselves invaluable. As an example during a discussion with Manny we had mentioned that we will miss a specific entrée from the Mexican restaurant. Manny took initiative, sought out the old menu and interacted with a chef who delivered the aforementioned entrée to us the next day. Eder also made us feel special with his personal discussions with us, sharing his thoughts and recommendations. To offer another example, we had ordered a specific drink which we had ask for a specific fruit slice to be included. Unfortunately, our first day that specific was not available. The next day when we ordered the same drink, Eder went out of his way to make sure those fruit slices were available with every drink from that day and every day after. I have provided examples of specific people and things the Maroma staff provided not of which are exaggerated. As stated, Carmen, Roberto, Manny, Eder and Bramdon all deserve special recognition. However, so does Ruben (Barefoot Grill), Louie (Pizza station by the pool) both of these men have paid particular attention to what we love when visiting and go out of their way to ensure we stay amazed. I addition special thanks to Margarita (Oceana breakfast hostess), Fransico and Darwin (Himitsu) and Diana (Spa) who were always wonderful. Secrets Maroma is our go to resort for our getaways and when people ask us why we say because we know we will be disappointed if we go anywhere else. Each stay we have had at Secrets Maroma has exceeded the previous. We are convinced it is because of all the people mentioned above and all the supporting cast behind the scenes.

  A Perfect Relaxing Getaway!

  We had such a beautiful vacation and the perfect short getaway to relax and spend quality time together. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful, clean, and well-maintained the resort was. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, making it exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. Talia was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even helped us get our TV connected to Google Play, texted us every day with information about activities and events happening around the resort, and always checked in to make sure we were having a great time. Her attention to detail and kindness truly made our stay even more special. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive, friendly, and polite. The service throughout the resort was truly high quality. There were activities and events happening every day, so there was always something to do if we wanted to get out and enjoy the resort. The food was also excellent. Room service was great, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and we especially enjoyed the steakhouse and sushi restaurant. There were plenty of options and everything we had was delicious. The beach did have some seaweed during our stay, but aside from that, the beach service was wonderful. The servers were constantly checking on us, making sure we had whatever drinks we wanted, and we never had an empty glass! There were umbrellas with comfortable cushioned chairs and tables available, and you also have the option to rent a private cabana for the day, which is a great touch if you’re looking for a little more privacy and relaxation. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful surroundings, great food, activities, and—most importantly—high-quality service. We would definitely come back!

  Money Well Spent

  it was amazing. From the house cleaners to the concierge angel in building 24 was amazing the entertainment i forgot some names but angel aka brown sugar they were all amazing. the bartenders and waiters chefs everybody miguel, whilbert and more everyone was great. Food and drinks were amazing was clean as well.All the transportation was smooth and easy felt very safe everywhere. Overall we will be back specially when construction is done.
