May 22, 2026Waiting, not responsive, no customer service in public facing positions
The bright spot is cleaning staff. Unfortunately the st Lucia stay was no where near the experience we had in Antigua Royalton last year. Start with prior to arrival, although requested diamond club room were unable to get one. Upon arrival unable to upgrade to diamond club. Check in is awful , time consuming, no one wants to spend more time checking in than they spent at customs. Trying to get staff to wait on you - just ignored . Used to going in to a hotel and being treated pleasantly by name. Food is terrible, unless you pay extra for the culinary experience - 400 for a couple. Make sure you download the Royalton app and start signing up for dinners at the specialty Resteraunt’s. Just went off property for really good Resteraunt’s: the Cliff, the Naked fisherman , Big Chef. The only staff that actually respond to you want to sell you on breakfast to sell you a Prime membership, if you don’t want to do that they will try to sell you on excursion. Disappointed they are associated with Marriot. Won’t be back to this hotel.

This vacation was to celebrate my wife's retirement and it was one of the worst vacations we have ever experienced.
Resort is beautiful. Rooms were clean but dated. Minibar was poorly stocked for an all-inclusive. No snack trays on room service menu. All the ice machines were broken. Most servers at the restaurants and bars were not very friendly!! The food was of mid to low caliber for an all-inclusive of this supposed caliber. Upgraded to Diamond level amenities and it was not worth the money AT ALL!! Do not book excursions beforehand!! We did and it was a terrible experience. Still trying to get charges off our credit card!! Checkout was a disaster!! The guy had no clue how to help us understand the bill. They charged us $130 more than was on their listing. Will never go back to this resort.

Overall the resort is beautiful! There are plenty of activities, if you choose to partake, or plenty of places to lounge if that's what you're looking to do. The rooms are nice and spacious with very large walk in showers. The staff was mostly great - with a few not so friendly here and there. The food was the biggest hit or miss with us. The Teppanyaki restaurant was amazing and the buffet was very nice, but some of the other restaurants were just average to us. Special shout outs to: Sherman at the snorkel and water activity center! Elnathan at the outdoor pool bar!

Awesome Vacation
The hotel was amazing, there were activities everyday at the pools and on the beach which we enjoyed. The food was great at all the resultants and at the buffets. The night entertain every night was awesome. Our butlers were the best Esther and Garvin y’all went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate you both. Thank you both for making our vacation memorable.
