  Very nice all-inclusive experience

  Planet Hollywood Cancun is a very nice resort on the north side of the Cancun area. It’s clearly designed for those who want to stay on property and not venture far off (but Ubers are pretty easy to get). The following is a breakdown of our experience: - Food: plentiful but usually bland. Only a few items were bad; but, conversely, only a few items were stellar. Also, reservations to restaurants are tough to get. - Drinks: the alcohol here is good quality and the drinks are well-made. Some bartenders are better than others; but we never encountered a bad drink, nor difficulty getting a drink. One bartender was absolutely incredible - if you can find Princess, he will make all of your drink dreams come true. - Pools: all of the pools were clean and well designed. The water temperature was lovely and the experience in them was good. - Grounds: it’s a good sized resort, so it does take time to get around; however, it’s not hard to get where you are going. Many things are concentrated around the main lobby areas, so you easily remember your way. - Service: everyone is very nice. Some definitely go farther out of the way to help; but nobody was difficult. The sales pitches are pretty excessive. For example, “have you gone to a 90-minute time share presentation? I’ll give you half off on a $400 massage.” No to both the presentation and the crazy massage. - Pre-arrival: the sales pitches starts weeks in advance. You can pick your room for $100. You can sign up for a private dinner (4x). Did you know Star Class is the only way you’ll have fun? (It’s not. You will have a great time without it.) Overall, if you get the right price for your room this is a total win. It’s not a five-star resort but it’s a strong four.

  Excellent à la carte options

  My entire stay at this hotel was made infinitely better due to the numerous restaurant options. It was easy to pick through the app and I was so glad to pick Sutra the night before I left. The chef, Sanjeev, was incredibly sweet and the flavour in his food was impeccable. The best way to end of my trip. My only regret is not choosing Sutra earlier. Amazing chef and food.

  Vacation 2026

  Our favorite part of the vacation was the ocean, so beautiful and clean. Mexico is definitely a fabulous country. When we arrived, the people were really kind. The welcome I received when entering the lobby with all the applause made me feel like a celebrity. My view from my room is incredible. It gave me plenty of time to reflect about life and being in anther country. All the food was delicious. Such a variety of choices to choose from. I came with a big group and our favorite restaurant was Sutra and the buffet at SoCal. The entertainment and activities were also a plus. My favorite thing was the foam party, Daniel, Kiki and Milton were amazing. Thanks so much for the experience. In general the experience at this resort was absolutely amazing. I would definitely be back and would recommend this resort to others.

  Party Animal

  My favorite restaurant was Brazzaville, the vibe and th food was really good. The room very clean and comfortable My favorite drink form the bar was the margarita, the people very kind always Eric always with best attitude From day one every one was very pleasant from the hospitality to the pool entertainment. Every day was something different. I especially enjoyed Daniel, aka Spiderrman and Milton thanks guys

  Vacation

  I' m so happy I got here with my friends ' having a good time , the people is so nice and friendly; the people at the lobby ; at the bar; who clean the room so dedicated; we meet a the pool this girl adi ; she was so attentive; nice ; always smiling; she play with us; and always happy ; we really like the party's at night ; we hope back again
