May 23, 2026Very pleased with our last minute decision
We booked a last minute vacation to Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun to sync up with friends’ plans. With little research or planning required, we didn’t have a lot of expectations going into the trip. When we consider value to overall experience, our week has been a success. One of the highlights of our stay has been our personal service butler, Jerry. He has been helpful, attentive and shown a genuine interest in improving our stay. He even took time to set up a cheerful display in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The balance of the staff are cordial and the pool side entertainment team are high energy. We’ve been satisfied with the facilities and especially pleased with PUMP gym and the Star Class Pool. The meals have been a little underwhelming with the exception of Sutra restaurant & Shores breakfast buffet which were excellent. Although we benefited from small crowds during the resort’s shoulder season, we would most likely consider coming back during high season with hopes of finding more lively entertainment and engaging activities.

Absolutely amazing
This trip was amazing, resort was beautiful service was great, food was great. Our butler Gerry was an absolute pleasure and checked on us regularly and made sure we always had exactly what we needed at all times.

May 20, 2026Good stay but room for improvement
I stayed in the adults-only section and the hotel grounds were lovely, with plenty to do. I especially loved the lazy river. Unfortunately, room 16401 was very damp, and the smell every time I walked in was quite unpleasant, even with a dehumidifier running. The room also felt a little run down compared to the rest of the resort. The daytime entertainment around the pool was brilliant; however, the nighttime entertainment lacked variety for me. I would have liked to see more shows rather than singers performing most nights. The food in the restaurants was really nice overall, but the buffet was one of the poorest selections of food I’ve experienced at a resort, which was disappointing. There were plenty of bars around the hotel, although they rarely seemed to open on time — especially the adults-only swim-up bar, which most days wasn’t open until at least 10:15am. If you visit, you must try the sports bar for food — hands down the best on the resort — as well as the burger joint. I never had any issues getting a sunbed around the pool, even at 10am, or booking restaurants. Overall, it was a nice stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.
