May 22, 2026Nice family friendly resort
We enjoyed the look of the resort, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool was great. The resort was also not at capacity so it felt extra spacious and we never had an issue with space by the pool or beach. We also loved the family friendly nature of the resort; Our kids had a blast at the water park, they enjoyed the kids club and enjoyed fun republic at night (which included food, drinks, snacks, carousel, mini golf, climbing course). The beach was gorgeous and we loved the use of the cabana style beds at the pool and the chairs at the beach. The food at the resort was pretty good but there were places we preferred rather than others. Kicks didn't really have the majority of their menu available and we didn't love the food. The buffet was pretty decent but more options wouldn't hurt. We did however enjoy the steakhouse and the asian hibachi style restaurant. The bars were all good and made good drinks and they had a good variety of liquor, including top shelf. We did the family concierge option and I would highly encourage it. Our concierge, Andy, was great. He gave us the list of activities for the resort for adults and kids every day and booked all of our restaurants for our stay. He also was very accessible via whats app and answered any questions or concerns. (I had an issue in the room and when I brought it to his attention, it was handled right away) They also brought our kids gifts to enjoy at the beach. We did an excursion which was interesting, it was included with the family concierge option, and our kids enjoyed seeing how coffee, chocolate and sugarcane was grown and processed and being able to taste it. It also was only a couple hours so you still had the majority of your day. We also did spa services, which were great. The spa is very cute and relaxing. They have a lot of workers too so it seems like there is always an opportunity to get an appointment. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they offered water, tea, and snacks as you waited. You could also avail yourself of the sauna, vapor room, pool and jacuzzi. I would say some more interactive night shows are warranted and more engagement in the daytime activities to get people involved. If you are a person that likes a very hype, lively, resort, this is probably not for you. However, we went to fun republic a few nights and they had shows as well. They also turn in a discoteca after 11 so you could also go there. Overall, I would go back and enjoyed my stay.

My stay at Paradisus Grand Cana in May was made very pleasant thanks to the hard work and nonstop dedication of Mr. Carlos Santana, Julissa, and Ana Alvarez. My hat is off to you and your team for your professionalism and the outstanding way you take care of your guests. Once again, thank you for making our stay such a wonderful experience.

May 21, 2026My Birthday Celebration
The resort was wonderful. Our room was like an apartment, spacious ,stylish and comfortable and extremely clean. There was a hot tub on the deck a garden tub in the room and a huge walk in shower. We had a great time celebrating my birthday. Lisette Carrasco was staff and very helpful throughout out stay. She kept in touch on whatspp and by surprise she decorated our room for my birthday. Our room was stocked daily with beverages and snacks. Many craft activities were offered throughout the day. Lissette introduced us to Bonny and he set us up for our excursions the prices were reasonable. We met Sandra the manager whom was very helpful throughout, and she offered us to meet the membership staff. The membership was unlike most and very appealing, although we didn't accept at that time. I had the opportunity to receive a massage and wow the best ever. We met Juan also staff. He was awesome ,so friendly and fun to be around. He was the life of the resort, popping up everywhere with his bubbly personality. I was actually upset when he wasn't working LOL. We also met Randy who was entertainment staff . He was do personable ,fun and could dance ,dance ,dance . He was exciting to be around ,had your adrenaline running on 100%. both he and Juan were in charge of so many activities we enjoyed being in their presence. We learned so much about what the hotel had to offer and therefore we didn't waste time and received the full benefit from our stay. We would definitely return just to see them .

Amazing stay
We were a large family group arriving from different parts of the world and our stay was amazing. I would like to give a special thanks to Julissa and Yan Carlos who went above and beyond during our whole stay but i would also like to mention and give thanks to everyone who helped us along the way , Anderson, Kendal, Eduardo, Francelis, Juan Daniel and Daniel. Our groups needs were met beyond expectations. This is also a very accesible hotel and will provide accommodations as needed to ensure our stay was the absolute best. Look forward to coming back.
