Beautiful Resort with Great Food & Views We had a wonderful stay at Divi Little Bay. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the views throughout the resort are incredible. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the beach attendants who set up chairs and umbrellas were fantastic. We especially loved that kayaks and snorkeling equipment were included at no extra charge — such a great perk! The food was one of the highlights of our stay. We really enjoyed the quality and taste overall. Loved the lava rock meal at Seabreeze and the Parmesan wheel pasta at Pureocean (non buffet side). My only wish would be for more breakfast options rather than having the same buffet every day. I also wish there were more air-conditioned restaurant options, especially during the hotter parts of the day. The lunch service at Seabreeze one day took over two hours. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there were a few small details that could have made the stay better. We had to call to have robes brought to the room, and there were no slippers provided (website says otherwise). The mini fridge only had sodas, and I would have loved to see bottled water and alcoholic beverages available, with the fridge being replenished regularly. It would also be a huge convenience if the resort offered an airport shuttle, especially for guests traveling with larger families or groups. The service was a mixed experience. Laurel at Slice Pizza and Gilberto at Gizmos were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcomed. Unfortunately, the pool bartenders were not nearly as friendly or accommodating, which was disappointing given how much time we spent at the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful beach, amazing views, great food, cleanliness, and included water activities are definite highlights.

Service was rude. They booked us an excision and did not confirm it with company and we were stuck on our last day with nothing to do. They were not helpful and did not offer any alternative. Manager was off duty and couldn’t be reached. It was awful and made the whole trip awful.

SXM ❤️🇸🇽 Our first time to SXM did not disappoint and Oceans at Little Divi Bay was phenomenal! The rooms were amazingly clean and very comfortable. The resort offers many restaurants and pools, a cafe, a convenience store and a handful of onsite resort shops. The beach is stunning. We had a perfect week and cannot wait to go back.

Honest and Current Review
This review will be in 2 parts…the short and blunt, followed by the longer and detailed. We are literally still here now. The Short: Beach: 10/10…calm, soft sand, easy to get chairs and umbrellas, no seaweed, just great! No sea life tho. Room: 9.5/10…1 bedroom suite, Oceans side, 4th floor, fantastic room, 2 showers, clean and roomy, comfortable, unbeatable view, a few minor imperfections. Food/restaurants: 9/10…Good selection and variety, pizza, burgers, Mexican, buffet, all very, very good! Omelette station is a fav. Mix bar at $45 per person just to walk in is a non starter Night life: 7/10…No shows or amped up acts. Bingo, music trivia, live music. No dance bar or disco, kinda sleepy into the night. My teenaged kids want more, Im happy with the slower pace. Pools: 8/10: Always room, warm, infinity pools, different levels and spaces to hang out. Tiles picked off…hot tub and upper pool closed 5 days in to our trip for revamp. Service: 3/10…Im very easy going in general and try to see the lighter side (I complain VERY little) but this resort needs some serious work on hospitality training. With few exceptions, most servers and wait staff are grumpy, angry or just indifferent. Long waits for attention. Some avoid eye contact all together and others avert their eyes once contact is made. Not sure if it is because of our all-inclusive wrist bands, but it’s up there with the worst I’ve seen. Excursions: ?/10…Carnival parade in Philipsburg was nuts, Maho beach is a must see. Atv and snorkel tours are coming up soon. The Long: Wait for it… Will do a more detailed review after I get home in a week, but wanted to get this out there while top of mind. Shoulder season now so a bit quiet around here…

Terrible management and useless employees
Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the terrible service. The staff were consistently unhelpful, rude, and unwilling to assist with even basic requests. We waited over an hour just to receive towels and toilet paper after being told someone was “on the way”—which clearly wasn’t true. The experience at the resort restaurant, Sea Breeze, was even worse. We were shocked to find that we had to cook our own chicken on a lava rock after already waiting more than an hour for our food. To make matters worse, the waitress handled raw chicken and then placed the same utensils directly onto my plate—the one I was expected to eat from. When I asked for a clean plate, she rolled her eyes at me. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. On top of that, she never brought the water we requested, forcing us to ask another staff member for help. Her attitude throughout was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. It honestly makes you wonder how staff expect to receive tips when they clearly don’t care about the guests they are serving. Overall, this experience reflects very poor management. There is a serious lack of training, accountability, and basic respect for guests. This hotel is in desperate need of a complete overhaul if they want to provide even a minimally acceptable level of service. The only good things I can say about this resort is the location, the beach was nice and the food was very good. Other than that, I will never return back to this resort.
