May 15, 2026Management negligence! They need to act up!
I was with my family for 6 nights there! Very bad experience on the very last evening!! I slipped very hard on one of their slippery tiles, injured my knee and almost broke my hip and back yet their management still took it very lightly! I don't even think they believed me even though there were more than 4 witnesses who saw the terrible accident at the time! I wasn't able to stand on my own or even walk!! I had to use a wheelchair that evening since I was not able to walk at all, and I also had to use it at all the airports on the way back home the next day!! Management can apply a very simple not costly solution to this dangerous hazard but they're probably waiting for a little kid to break his neck, only then they will take it seriously! Too Bad!

Absolutely exceptional vacation short drive from the airport service is exceptional. The food is great large variety different daily options. The à la Carta very nice. Need to give a special shout out to VINILLLI and Alfredo the servers from the buffet is exceptional goes above and beyond treated us like VIP. The rooms are very spacious very clean housekeeping did a fantastic job. The hammock on the balcony is a really nice touch for the upgrade. The beach was beautiful. The pool was always very clean. Entertainment was great. All bars and drinks were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this resort those smaller resort. It was very well. Maintain the Services exceptional. It’s more calm and relaxing than party vibes, but it has beach volleyball ping-pong. Lots to keep you busy. The marina is literally right beside the resort so you do see the ships and boats coming and going all day, but it wasn’t as loud or as much as a nuisance as expected, but it does make for a smaller beach and swimming area but still Crystal Clearwaters it was absolutely fantastic One point where there is room for improvement would be there pretty much no seats with shade either at the beach or the pool. There are some umbrellas around the pool but none by the beach that is where I would say there is room for improvement.

It was an awesome stay for us. The personnel were awesome. The service was very good. Very kind personnel. The food was good. Nothing luxurious, but everything you need. Chicken, beef, pork, salads, fruits, ice cream, desserts, and so on. The sea was also very nice. Clean beach, bar at the beach. Plenty of pace for everyone. Water is clean and enjoyable. I would recommend the hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Stay in Mexico — and I Was Skeptical at First I’ll be honest — I almost didn’t book the Occidental. After reading through some of the reviews and seeing a handful of negative experiences, I had real reservations. But I’m so glad I pushed past that hesitation, because this turned out to be the best hotel stay I’ve had in Mexico, and that’s saying a lot. For the past five years, I’ve made an annual trip to Cancun for dental work, and each year I’ve tried a different hotel. I’ve had good stays and forgettable ones. The Occidental blew them all out of the water. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and completely pressure-free — no hard upsells, no confusion, just a warm welcome. The staff throughout the entire property were genuinely friendly, not in a rehearsed way, but in a way that made you feel like a valued guest. That warmth carried through every interaction, every day. The food was excellent. Again — I’ve stayed at several all-inclusives in the area over the years, and the quality here stood out. Plenty of variety, consistently good, and never disappointing. Checkout was just as seamless as check-in. No surprise charges, no billing confusion, no awkward back-and-forth — my bill was exactly what it should have been. That kind of clean, no-drama experience means more than people might realize. If you’re on the fence because of some mixed reviews, I’d encourage you to book with confidence. My experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I’ll absolutely be returning next year.

EXCELLENT STAFF👏👏👏
The staff at this property was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and nice, they remembered what we drank at the bars. Pool was very nice. Rooms were clean. Overall very good stay😎
