May 22, 2026Definitely NOT 5 Star, would not return or recommend! No baby food facilities!
Definitely not 5star and certainly not accomodting for all children and babies-. So disappoointed that this is supposed to be a Nickelodeon 5Star resort but was anyrhing but. A well known franchise for kids yer there was no dedicated baby food and had to keep asking staff to heat up pre packed baby food we brought otherwise our baby had no meals. -face painting awful! Supposed to be ninja turtle! - limited selection of food for children and took us half an hour to queue up at 9am to book a reservation for the spacewalker just for it to be a dull experience and over hyped and our 2 yr old son didnt even get to have a helmet on our table. - hardly any entertainment for children, they had kids club during the day at the Aqua Nick which was only for children aged 4 and above so my 3 year old couldnt access, they had nothing for babies. A small paddling pool in direct heat no shelter in the main resort area. - evening entertainment was awful, an open air theatre which got really busy and packed when any event was on but not suitable for young kids - when checking out we called up the day before to request a bell boy to pick up our luggage but no one areived evennafter several calls on the day - we went to settle the bill the day before to reduce check out time but still a long wait - Poorly furnished rooms, lots of cracks and badly installed television whicu was wonky and bathroom door hinges bent - LONG to check in, staff were so slow - Sales rep Prestige travels spent FOUR hours trying to sell us an overpriced package after our contact Nicolas told us it would only be 90 minutes and get a free voucher, this sales team were so pushy and wasted the whole morning of our holiday which really put a negative vibe on our stay-Manny was very polite and relative but the other staff members were just too pushy for a sale and too so long we just wanted to leave - tried to go to burgers restaurant but its not open everyday and service was slow and not great burgers at all and no fries came with our burgers even after we asked! - [ ] Food not good at all- buffet limited options - [ ] Pizza making experience awful and long not well planned or organised just one chef running round children waiting long time, waste of money as the turtles only came at the end of it all sonit was just not worth taking a pizza making class really - [ ] Photo service long and not clear on prices and packaging - [ ] Slime experience staff not engaging or enthusiastic - [ ] Room service customer service at reception desk were rude - [ ] Food choices very poor and limited not always open- especially room service- never had food available even though it was on the app or television programme - [ ] Sweetery ice cream too soft melted and runny - [ ] bedRoom small for four ppl family and sofa bed no sheets given on first night we had to request it - [ ] Beach had no ramp to bring buggy which again is silly for a kids resort - [ ] Souvenir shop very limited and over priced- $45 for nappies! - [ ] Room television no nickelodeon shows at all for children only disney cartoon network which didnt make any sense as we wanted to create a more atmosphere for our son to get him intonthe nickelodwon characters but only disney was on the tv - [ ] Meet and greet locations communication not clear in the app - it would says nockelodeon place but be in the lobby, or it would say building 4 but ne near the sweetery- also the gardield characters not engaging. Felt rushed to take a pic, staff didnt seem happy to be there - [ ] App didnt uodate so coukdnt see tometable activities

Currently rating a 1. We upgraded to a swim up room for $1000 but we had such a bloody awful experience that they agreed it was fair to refund the money for the upgrade. It has been 4 weeks and the money still isn’t in my account - they said it would take 1-2 weeks and are ignoring my emails. Hoping that public humiliation will prompt action on their part. For the record, the reason that they agreed to refund the money back is because our neighbours were smoking weed all day every day - the smell was so strong that even the inside of our room stank, the outdoors pool area reeked too and the hotel did nothing about it - despite weed being illegal in DR and smoking of any kind supposedly being prohibited in the hotel rooms. Pathetic.
