The activities team was amazing! Everyone was friendly, energetic, and made sure we had a great time. A special shout-out to Yafreisy, who was absolutely wonderful—always welcoming, attentive, and full of positive energy. I also want to recognize the lovely bartender at the lobby bar where the evening shows take place. She was always friendly, attentive, and made great drinks! Her wonderful service and personality definitely added to our experience. Great job to the entire team! You all made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable.

I would recommend this hotel, as it has both strengths and areas that need improvement. Starting with the positives, I appreciated that the resort is adults-only, which was exactly the type of atmosphere I was looking for. The rooms were consistently clean and well-maintained, although they are somewhat outdated. The daily food selection was good overall, and the breakfast offerings were especially enjoyable. One feature I really liked was the reservation system for the specialty restaurants, which helped create a more enjoyable dining experience. Mar de Sal was by far the best restaurant we visited during our stay. I would recommend making dinner reservations early in the morning, as availability fills quickly. Additionally, several staff members were friendly, attentive, and helpful whenever we needed assistance. As for the areas of improvement, the guest rooms are due for renovations and could benefit from updated fixtures and furnishings. The breakfast dining area was often uncomfortably warm and would benefit from additional fans or improved ventilation. There was also a noticeable issue with flies in the area that should be addressed. Another concern was an employee at the beachside bar. While most staff were pleasant, one senior staff member who spoke English well came across as rude and unprofessional. She often acted as though guests were inconveniencing her, which negatively affected the overall experience. I strongly encourage management to address customer service expectations, as interactions like these can impact guest satisfaction and hotel ratings. I also found the constant solicitation from vendors on the beach to be overwhelming. While I understand they are trying to make a living, being approached every few minutes made it difficult to relax and enjoy the beach. It would be helpful if designated times or areas could be established for these interactions. In addition, some staff members appeared to expect tips in exchange for providing basic assistance. Exceptional service should stem from professionalism and hospitality rather than an expectation of gratuity, and this approach felt somewhat uncomfortable at times. Another disappointment was the upselling that occurred during check-in. Guests were encouraged to pay extra for access to a quieter section of the resort. For travelers celebrating special occasions, such as anniversaries, it would be a thoughtful gesture to offer complimentary benefits rather than asking to upgrade.
