  Beautiful Resort, Amazing People, and a Stay We’ll Never Forget

  My partner and I recently stayed at Live Aqua Punta Cana, and honestly, all I can say is WOW. What an incredible experience. I had actually been waiting to receive an email from the resort so I could leave an official review, but when I realized I hadn’t received one, I knew I still had to come to TripAdvisor and share our experience. There was no way I could leave without recognizing this beautiful resort and, most importantly, the wonderful people who made our stay so special. First of all, Live Aqua is absolutely stunning. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the resort. It feels peaceful, elegant, luxurious, and incredibly well maintained. There is so much attention to detail throughout the property. And I have to mention the signature scent throughout the resort. It smells absolutely amazing. It’s such a small detail, but somehow it becomes part of the entire experience and is something I still think about now that we’re home. As beautiful as the resort is, though, what truly made our vacation unforgettable was the people. Miguel, Johny, and Delvin, who were part of the team in the pool area, where do I even begin? These three truly made our time by the pool one of the highlights of our entire stay. From the conversations and laughs to the warm welcomes and the way they always made sure we were enjoying ourselves, they made us feel genuinely cared for. They were attentive, kind, funny, welcoming, and just an absolute pleasure to be around. What stood out to us the most was how genuine they were. Nothing ever felt forced or like they were simply doing their jobs. You could truly feel their warmth and kindness, and that makes such a difference when you’re away from home. There is good customer service, and then there are people who leave such an impression on you that you remember their names and continue talking about them after your vacation is over. That is exactly what Miguel, Johny, and Delvin did for us. By the end of our stay, saying goodbye genuinely felt bittersweet. They had become part of the memories we were taking home with us, and I think that says so much about the kind of experience they create for their guests. I sincerely hope Live Aqua management sees this review and recognizes Miguel, Johny, and Delvin. They deserve it. A resort can be beautiful, have incredible amenities, and be in an amazing location, but ultimately, it is the people who give a place its heart and make you want to return. These three represent the hospitality of Live Aqua beautifully. If I could offer one piece of constructive feedback, it would be regarding the music by the pool area. I would absolutely love to hear more Dominican music incorporated throughout the day. As a Dominican American, I navigate both cultures, and I truly believe that when you visit the Dominican Republic, part of the experience should be having the opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture. When staying at a resort, guests may not always have as much access to the local culture outside of the property, so something as simple as music becomes a beautiful way to bring a little bit of the Dominican Republic into the resort experience. The pool is also where so many guests gather throughout the day, which makes it the perfect place to showcase more of our music and culture. I would love to hear more bachata, merengue, and salsa playing by the pool. I’m not suggesting that these should be the only genres played, because I completely understand having a variety of music for guests from all over the world. However, I do think Dominican and Latin music should make up a larger portion of the playlist. After all, you’re in the Dominican Republic, and the music is such a beautiful and important part of the culture. That is honestly one of the things I would love to experience more of the next time we visit. Overall, our experience was wonderful. The property is gorgeous, the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious, and we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. We came to Punta Cana expecting a beautiful vacation, but we left talking just as much about the wonderful people we met as we did about the resort itself. Live Aqua Punta Cana, thank you for such a memorable stay and for giving us an experience we will always look back on so fondly. And to Miguel, Johny, and Delvin, thank you for the laughs, the conversations, your kindness, and for making our vacation that much more special. We truly appreciated every one of you, and we hope to see you again when we return. We would recommend Live Aqua Punta Cana without hesitation and would absolutely return.

  Goood experience

  Our room butler ERIC was super nice and always smiling! My boyfriend got sunburn and he went to pharmacy to get the person to the hotel he helped us a lot!

  Great vacation with amazing staff!

  We spent a week at Live Aqua Punta Cana and we loved our experience! The greenery and multiple pools were peaceful and the staff were amazing. Shout out to the Entertainment Team that worked hard to get everyone having fun each night, Yohangel who served us every breakfast with a huge smile, Willie who made me fabulous cocktails, and Super Dario who took care of us with upbeat energy every time. - Cheyanne and Ryan
