  Superb Experience with fantastic staff

  Had 5 nights here with friends, wow, what a great experience. The staff were amazing, without fail all would make eye contact and greet you wherever you were in the hotel. It was such a huge change to see staff that seemed genuinely interested and pleased to be working there compared to some other hotel brands. We were lucky to be in Star Prestige and the service and attention to detail was superb, lots of areas to sunbath in, either on the rooftop or around the main pool, with self service drinks and food provided at both areas, they also had roving staff who could provide you with refreshments at your lounger/seat. The accommodation was great, plenty of space and everything you needed in the room, and very comfortable beds. Amongst all the great staff I would like to call out Christina and Dominic who were superb and looked after us so well. Thanks Had a great time and hopefully will be back again.

  Fab hotel

  Best part of the hotel is the staff, especially Carmela and Santiago.They are so professional and helpful even when some guests are rude to them about not booking beds or not getting towels till 10 am.Room 477 lovely but very very noisy from entertainment from hotel opposite and also hotels ents.We come twice a year, first year on front of hotel but will request quieter room next time.Food good but staff are amazing.

  Wonderful staff, food, drinks and scenery - perfect hotel

  My stay at Iberostar Selection Sábila was honestly unforgettable. I travelled solo for my birthday and, although I travel alone regularly, I’d never done this kind of 5 star hotel stay by myself before. I was slightly nervous I might feel out of place around couples or groups, but I genuinely never felt alone or like I didn’t belong. The staff made such a difference and helped make my birthday unforgettable. A huge thank you has to go to Aarón. I joined one of his music quizzes and he made it so much fun and easy to feel included. I also attended his Spanish lesson and loved it. I travel to Spain regularly, but genuinely felt I learnt more useful, real life Spanish in that session than I have in a long time. He gave practical examples and had such brilliant energy. He has a real way of making people feel comfortable and involved, whether one on one, in a small group or in front of a crowd. He helped make my birthday and stay feel special and is a real asset to the hotel. Carmela and Santiago by the pool were absolutely wonderful. Both were attentive, kind, professional and genuinely lovely to talk to. Even when juggling lots of requests, they treated people with patience and warmth and always made sure I was comfortable and looked after. They worked so well together and made such a positive difference to my stay. Carmela also went above and beyond for me in ways I really noticed and appreciated and worked so hard. They are both real assets to the hotel and deserve recognition. Rossella was another absolute gem. I saw her most evenings and she was always attentive, welcoming and on top of everything. Carlos was brilliant too, especially when I arrived late one evening and struggled to find somewhere to sit. He made sure I had a space and could still be involved. Nico (I think was his name) also made me feel welcome at the evening entertainment and brought such positive energy. The buffet restaurant was another highlight. I stayed half board and the food was excellent. Breakfast and dinner were so generous that I rarely needed lunch. I loved the different themes each evening and trying things I wouldn’t normally choose. I even tried oysters for the first time and the staff were so helpful explaining how to enjoy them. Daniela was wonderful on my birthday and made dinner feel extra special, including making sure I got a birthday song and candles. Thank you to Aarón and the evening entertainment crew who also did the same. Those little touches meant so much. I treated myself to a massage in the spa and it was beautiful. The treatment was incredibly relaxing and the private pool and jacuzzi afterwards made it feel like a proper birthday treat. A special shout out to Harver from Fotoeventi, who took my photos during a fab birthday themed photoshoot. He was kind, patient and so talented, and made the whole experience relaxed and fun. The photos came out beautifully and became some of my favourite birthday photos ever! What stood out most was the consistency of the service. Whether I was at the pool, dinner, evening entertainment or simply needed help, somebody was always willing to help. The staff were professional but also warm and human. I had plans to leave the hotel on my birthday, including a restaurant booking and a dolphin and whale watching trip, but in the end I didn’t want to leave.I felt so looked after and could see how much effort had gone into making the day special that I chose to stay, and I’m so glad I did. I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, including another Iberostar, but I very rarely leave somewhere already thinking about when I can return. This was different. I left sad to go and I’m already looking at when I could come back. A very special thank you again to Aarón, Carmela, Santiago, Rossella, Carlos, Nico and Harver, as well as everyone else who made my stay so memorable. I genuinely hope management sees this and the praise is passed on. The effort, warmth and care did not go unnoticed. They took an already special birthday trip and made it exceptional.

  Not for the AVID Traveler

  This is a real review of the property. For a traveler that’s a diamond member of Hilton and titanium Member of Marriott, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you want to be nicked and dined. Yes their cuisine is good as it should be for 3K for two people - Just to eat breakfast and dinner. Please note dinner doesn’t even include a glass of still water that they have on tap In their dated hallways outside your room. This was truly an eye opener for us never to return to any Iberostar as we generally frequent the grand in Montego Bay. IHG will Never and I mean never get a recommendation to our travel group over 100K members after this visit. The staff makes the place but management trains them in a way that’s uncomfortable for them. Mind you most of the staff is from other countries. You have to pay money at this “resort” to play a game a pool? What the heck….3K for six days and you want a few euros for me to utilize the pool table. This place is obviously appealing to people traveling from the Europe countries. However, it’s sadly not a top pick for Americans as their wasn’t any their aside from us. Which is fine. The hallways are dirty stained carpets and the rooms leak of water when you use the shower. Good was good, staff was nice but overall I’d chose another place to stay next time for what you get. Oh and parking isn’t included either with any level of your stay.

  Superb

  One word ( FANTASTIC ) loved everything about the Sabilia, staff magic, food teriffic, room amazing really a wonderful 9days. Will definitely be back. Thanks very much everyone at the Sabilia.
