Sep 05, 2026A good stay, although I expected more from the Star Prestige experience
Overall, I would say this is a good hotel, although I left with somewhat mixed feelings. The rooms and all common areas were very clean and well maintained. The hotel itself is pleasant, and the food was also quite good, with plenty of choice. Overall, in terms of cleanliness, facilities and general standards, there is not much to complain about. The absolute highlight of my stay was the staff. Everyone I met was smiling, friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. The service was definitely one of the strongest points of the hotel, and the staff deserve a lot of credit for making the stay enjoyable. However, despite everything being good on paper, I somehow felt that the hotel was missing that special something. It lacked the atmosphere that makes you feel sad to leave and immediately start thinking about when you can come back. Unfortunately, I did not have that feeling here. My biggest disappointment was the room. I booked a Junior Suite in the Star Prestige area with a direct sea view, and the sea view was one of the main reasons why I chose and paid extra for this particular room category. However, I was given a room on the third floor where the main view was more towards the swimming pool, while the view of the sea was significantly obstructed by a wall and trees. For a room advertised and sold as having a direct sea view, especially in the Star Prestige category and at this price level, I expected a much clearer and more open view of the sea. Another downside was the lack of privacy on the balcony. Due to the layout and connection between the balconies, it is quite easy to see onto the neighbouring balcony, and your neighbours can do the same. I did not find this particularly comfortable. Again, considering that this was a Junior Suite in the Star Prestige area, I would have expected a much greater sense of privacy. The Star Prestige area itself is pleasant and provides a quieter and more exclusive environment. However, after experiencing it for the whole stay, I am not entirely convinced that the additional cost is justified by what you actually receive. Overall, this is a good, clean and well-maintained hotel with tasty food and, above all, fantastic staff. I do not regret staying here, and there were many aspects of the hotel that I genuinely enjoyed.

This hotel has a wonderful location overlooking Santa Ponsa bay. The facilities are excellent. Room cleaned every day and very spacious. The food is so good we had no inclination to eat out. Staff super friendly - always smiling and helpful. We can’t wait to return next year.

Perfecto
We are staying at the hotel for the second time now. The service is excellent—special thanks to Katerina, who always found us the best tables at dinner and was consistently cheerful and very helpful; it was truly appreciated. And Faith, who cleaned our room to perfection and would secretly leave out sweets—such a lovely person. These two made our holiday a wonderful, well-cared-for experience. The food, the rooms, the pool—everything was amazing. We will definitely be back next year; we feel right at home here. Thank you for another lovely holiday. Could be better
This is not one of Iberostar's better resorts. The suites are very good as is the room service. The place is very clean and well furnished throughout. We were in an "all inclusive" package. There was a "Japanese " restaurant which we were allowed a "discount" being all exclusive 🤔. There was the issue of having to pay for a lunch at the "pool bar" and at level 3 the sun lounge area for the "superior guests". I have to ask, why do guests have to pay for these when "all inclusive". This is all the more questionable as, you could get drink without any extra cost. The food was good, but very repetitive. The food was obviously made earlier in large quantities and, by the time guests arrived at the dining room the food was tepid and heavy. Food cooked as you waited was better. Overall the staff were very good.

A wonderful first experience for us at this hotel! We stayed in Star Prestige and on an AI basis. Rooms stunning, food and drinks were fabulous. Best buffet I’ve ever had, choice and quality outstanding. Views were stunning and it was pure relaxation and calm. Staff were all exceptional, always happy to help and always smiling! All areas were clean and modern and we loved the hot tub on our balcony. A 10/10 holiday!
