  Xcaret Adventure

  We spent a week at Hotel Xcaret, and it was a great adventure. Booking through Costco is a breeze, and we booked during a wintertime sale.. We booked a garden suite for two adults and two kids which was plenty of room for all of us. Check in was easy, and shortly after we were invited to participate in a member orientation, which we declined. We requested Casa Vida, and they were able to accommodate. I would recommend this part of the resort of you have pre teen or teenage kids. This is were the slides are at along with teen oriented arcades and game room. Casa Vida also had a nice rooftop bar and pool. Along with the resort, we did Xcaret Park, Xenses, Xplor, Xplor Feugo and Xenotes. All great parks. Wish we spent more time at Xcaret Park though, they have a lot of activities to offer which is difficult to fit in a day. Food was excellent from the buffets to the sit down restaurants. We did Baja Arriba, Monarca, Tamamon (twice for sushi and teppanyaki), Las Playas and Costa Azul, along with all the buffets. Then there is Ximena which the food carts which was a hit with the kids. A couple of things. We had joined a Xcaret Facebook Page which was really helpful to prepare. At about 30 days out, you have to email the resort and they send you a link to make your reservations. We did have one major hiccup when the ceiling in our room began leaking during a heavy rain storm in the middle of the night, which resulted in two room changes in 24 hours. Fortunately, we ended up in a better room in the end. Overall, it's a great time and would recommend a summer vacation.

  STAFF HARASSED MY PREGNANT WIFE

  TL;DR: Staff physically confiscated silverware and water glasses from my 6-months pregnant wife to prevent her from eating, publicly humiliating her after we waited over an hour for food. Management admitted to these severe operational failures in writing but refuses to issue a refund for the undelivered services. Expect broken room service, massive dining queues, and an environment that prioritizes timeshare sales over the basic health and safety of its guests. To those contemplating spending upwards of $5,500 for the illusion of a luxury retreat: take heed. Hotel Xcaret is not a high-end hospitality venue. It is an exercise in operational chaos, contempt for its guests, and unvarnished corporate greed. We traveled with our toddler and my six-months pregnant wife, anticipating the promised "All-Fun Inclusive" seamlessness. Instead, we found ourselves trapped in a system that prioritized deploying over 20 staff members to aggressively hawk tours and timeshares in the lobby while entirely failing to feed their existing guests. The daily dining queues routinely stretched well past an hour. Attempting to bypass this via room service revealed a completely broken system. The phone line was deliberately left off the hook to broadcast a continuous busy signal, and when we finally forced a connection after eight separate attempts, the food arrived three hours late or simply never materialized at all. The absolute nadir of our stay arrived on our final morning. Physically exhausted and unable to endure yet another taxing queue, my visibly pregnant wife took a seat at an empty table. Rather than exhibiting basic human decency, let alone the preferential treatment explicitly mandated by Mexican law, a hostess publicly berated her as a "line cheater." In a staggering display of hostility, the staff physically stripped the silverware and water glasses from her table to ensure she could not eat. I was left to scavenge for cutlery at a waiter's station myself just to secure a meal for my pregnant wife. One might expect urgent apologies for such degrading treatment. Instead, despite management (Ulises Miranda) formally admitting to their severe operational failures in writing on March 11, the resort's corporate office refuses to refund the $2,765.20 owed for the services they failed to deliver. They operate under the assumption that foreign tourists will simply give up once they cross the border, but they are mistaken. This is now an active federal dispute for discriminatory denial of service (PROFECO Expediente #06683971, Art. 7 & 58 LFPC) and a formal regulatory financial claim. Do not subsidize this behavior. If Hotel Xcaret will treat a pregnant mother with such blatant hostility and happily pocket the money, imagine how they will treat you.

  Dream destination

  We stayed one week at Xcaret Hotel México and trier to get the full experience of the the All Fun incl. package. Location is perfect with its private beach and different therme parks . Transportation from and to airport as well as to the parks is very well organized. Rooms are modern and perfectly clean. The whole resort has a unique atmosphere and let’s you enjoy every minute of your stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Yes, it’s expensive but worth every penny.

  we had amazing time there

  We really enjoy our stay in Xcaret. This is the second time we have been there. Although it’s further away from the airport. But their pick up service and shuttle buses are very convenient; the hotel total worth the drive there- very amazing and beautiful everywhere. The food is great. The staff in the hotel are super helpful(especially our butlers Alejandro Bueno, Armin Mayordomo Hxm, and Mauricio Mayordomo ). One day during our stay, I stupidly brought my phone to do paddle boarding, and it dropped into the water. The lifeguards at the hotel spent days and hours helping me find it. And they GOT IT BACK from the bottom of the inland sea after three days of searching!! I feel guilty and also deeply touched and appreciate their hard work. I recommended it to many of our friends to go. And we will definitely go back again.

  Xcaret Mexico

  Xcaret Mexico has been one of the biggest resort I have ever been to. It's my first time there, it took me 2 days to adjust to finding my ways around the resort. The resort is clean and people working there are friendly and helpful. My trip experience has been made so much better with the help of my concierge Citlally Amezola. She is friendly, proactive and super helpful. She helps me book and reschedule restaurant reservation, modify tour reservation, arrange ride to the airport, reschedule kayak booking. She also offer me an opportunity to attend a breakfast info session to learn what more Xcaret can offer me.
