  Amazing 9-Night Stay at RIU Paraiso 🌴☀️💕✈️💖

  We have just returned from a 9-night stay at RIU Parasio, and we honestly had the best time! 🌴 ☀️ 💖 From the very start right through to the end, everything about this hotel was amazing! The staff were all so lovely, friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more special! A huge thank you to the entertainment team! The entertainment team really made our holiday so enjoyable! They worked so hard and always made sure everyone felt welcome and included! The shows they put on were absolutely amazing, and we especially loved doing the dance at the end of the shows every night! Both the daytime and evening entertainment were brilliant! There was always something going on, and the team were fantastic at getting everyone involved! I took part in some of the games during the afternoons and really enjoyed them! It was such fun atmosphere around the hotel! Housekeeping & Gardens A huge thank you to the maids who worked so hard throughout our stay! Our room was always lovely and clean, and it was clear how much effort they put into keeping everything looking great! The garden team also did an amazing job! The gardens were always beautifully looked after, and they worked so hard to keep everything clean and tidy! So beautiful! The hotel cats There were a few cats around the hotel during our stay, but they didn’t bother us at all! They have little areas around the hotel for the cats, and they mostly just sleep and relax in their own spaces! It was actually really lovely to see them! Our room We had a pool view room and really loved it! We stayed in room 1164, which was a really nice room to have! The pool view was lovely, and we really enjoyed spending time around the hotel! Food & Drinks The food was really nice, with lots of choices available at breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We always managed to find something we liked, and there was plenty of variety throughout our stay! The drinks were also really nice! We did find that the cocktails were nicer during the day, as they seemed a little more watery in the evening! One thing to remember is that the hotel doesn’t provide straws, so if you like using them, bring your own reusable ones along with you! Location & Walks The location is also great if you enjoy getting out and exploring If you turn left out of the back gate, you can walk towards Matagorda! It’s around a 20-25 minute walk along the promenade, and it’s such a lovely walk! Along the way you’ll find lots of little gift shops and a couple of restaurants, so it’s definitely worth having a wander around! If you turn right, you can walk towards Puerto Del Carmen! This is a longer walk and takes around 45-60 minutes, but you can also tame a taxi! We normally paid around €8 - €10 for a taxi! We really enjoyed looking around the shops and exploring some of the bars and different areas there! The Parrots One if our favourite little experiences was seeing the parrots! You can feed them and they may even land on you! We took some apples from the hotel and they seemed to really enjoy them! They also like monkey nuts and seeds! So cute!

  Nice hotel. All inc needs improving

  Nice hotel. Clean and staff were lovely. Unfortunately we will never go for all inclusive again we don't usually go all inc but went with family so was just easier. The food was basic and very repetitive. We didn't have one meal in a week we thought was great. The drinks we're very limited. The carbonated soft drinks were all flat. The pools were brilliant and the activities all day were varied. The entertainment was quite basic and repetitive. The best entertainment was one of the housekeepers making an appearance when a certain song was played. There were cats which we loved but they were clearly not cared for. No fresh water unless guests provided it please look after the welfare of your cats if your going to keep them at the hotel. Our room was perfect. Due to my husband not being able to walk far we were given a disabled room near the main pool and restaurants. The room was clean and very spacious. The entertainment staff during the day were lots of fun. The hotel isn't far from the airport so good location.

  Family holiday with teens

  8 night stay at this all inclusive hotel. We usually go to playa blanca but wanted to try here as nearer the airport and heard better for older children. We weren’t disappointed. Our teens loved it. They loved the entertainment team. They were fabulous. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. House keeping was exceptional. The food was fresh and lots to choose from. I loved the fish option every day with salads, especially the tuna steaks. It did get busy at peak times but always got a table ok. I did think food could be labelled better as sometimes it was guess work. The drinks were ok. I didn’t like the wines but the spirits were good. Staff here are 5 stars. Genuinely friendly and happy and always say hello to you. Pools were so clear and clean with lifeguards keeping check. Had a massage which was included in our package. Loved it. The gym was a bit disappointing as small and tired. Couldn’t do my usual training but I could run/walk along the amazing shore line. Plus the hotel is so big I hit my steps goal with ease. We felt safe here and saw no trouble at all. A lovely family vibe so would definitely return. The cats were no bother and were rather cute. I saw no mess anywhere. All in all a very relaxing holiday.   Fantastic holiday

  Have just come back from A 8 night holiday here we could have happily stayed another couple of days. Everywhere was spotlessly clean rooms were very nice had a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo. We took our own beach towels but you can do without them as they give you them and you can change them as many times as you like. Food was always good lots to choose from does get repetitive but all inclusive. Always does so we ate out a couple of evenings in Peurto de calman which is a nice walk. We also had a walk to watch the planes go over us which Took 40 mins if you turn left out of hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location. Went in the sea and done snorkelling which is just over the road. Staff are all very friendly and the reception staff are very accommodating and helpful. We played kaboot in the evening then sat outside or in the bar in the evening as did not fancy being cooped up in the theatre. Would thoroughly Recommend here for your holiday. Drinks were ok not much of a range of cocktails and no spritz and only one choice of Beer but we did manage to find something to drink. Entertainment staff are fantastic and looked very good With the young children. Cats were around but people Leave food and drink lying around so they come to get that.

  Great Holiday - recommend to all!

  Staff were amazing and very attentive - every single member of staff would say hello and interact with you. The entertainment team were fantastic - 100% energy all day every day. There is a wide range of food - something for everyone (coming from a fussy eater). The food is replenished regularly and always hot. The Asian restaurant was lovely. Drink options were great and cocktails were lovely, there are only a handful of cocktails to choose from, however, there are a lot of other drinks to choose from. Everywhere in the hotel was clean. The theatre had AC and lots of seats - the shows were amazing, from Kahoot quizzes to dance shows. The day time entertainment is great - we went as 2 adults and there is something for everyone. The rooms were clean and comfy, we stayed in the building away from the entertainment and couldn't hear anything. The location is great, right on the beach and only 10/15 minutes from Puerto Del Carmen - the bus stop is right outside and super cheap! The only negative I have to say is there are many sun lounger reserver's from early hours, but you can always find somewhere to relax.
