Amazing Diamond Member perks and stunning Bell Rock views!

We love Hilton and always try to travel within their portfolio, and this time around we stayed at the Hilton at Bell Rock because we had an invitation for a timeshare presentation. Since we are Hilton Diamond Members, they upgraded us to a beautiful 1-bedroom king room with a fire pit. Enjoying that fire pit at night under a million stars was absolutely amazing, and the hotel even offers s'mores kits for $15 to make it extra special. We really enjoyed the pool area, which has plenty of lounge chairs and a full bar, and the lobby features a convenient Starbucks and a little store where we could use our Diamond credit of $36 each day or spend it anywhere on-site. The gym is large and well-equipped, though don't expect to swim in their lap pool right now, as it is currently under renovation (as of May 2026). One morning, we got up early and took the quick 10-minute drive to Bell Rock to hike the beautiful mountain right as the sun was rising, which was an incredible experience. If you can afford this hotel or get your hands on one of their timeshare invitations, absolutely do it—you will have a great time!

    Overall frustrating

We chose the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock expecting a higher-end experience than what we typically receive at Hilton properties. Unfortunately, the stay was consistently frustrating across multiple aspects of the visit. Upon arrival, we had already paid for self-parking through the Hilton app, yet the valet insisted on taking our keys to move our rental vehicle while we checked in. This created immediate confusion and frustration, especially since payment had already been completed. When we returned to the front circle, our vehicle was still sitting there—unattended, unlocked, with the keys and all of our belongings inside. This raised serious concerns about security and care. The condition of the room did not meet expected Hilton cleanliness standards. While none of the issues were individually major, the accumulation was unacceptable. We found a fingernail on the bathroom floor, hair on the shower walls, and what appeared to be a nail inside a glass on the coffee table. The outdoor fire bowl area contained an old, wet graham cracker and plastic debris. In the shared pool area, there were empty cups and trash left on chairs. These are basic cleanliness issues that should not occur at this level of property. The fire bowl in our room did not function properly and would not light. We had to call staff, and an employee ultimately used a lighter to manually start it. This again pointed to a lack of proper maintenance and preparation. Parking continued to be a problem on our second day. Despite having paid for parking, there were no available spaces in the designated lot. We were directed to an alternative lot farther from our room, which was inconvenient but manageable. However, when leaving later for dinner, our exit was blocked for several minutes by a parked delivery truck, further compounding the frustration. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. After requesting service, we returned to find toothpaste still in the sink, hair on the bathroom floor, and a wet towel that had simply been folded and left in place. It appeared that the room had not been properly cleaned, only minimally reset. Overall, this stay did not meet the expectations associated with the Hilton brand, especially for a resort property positioned as an elevated experience. The repeated operational and cleanliness issues made what should have been a relaxing family trip consistently frustrating.

    Disappointed

We booked a two day stay. Very disappointed which starting out with the distance from the Hilton to Sedona. Valet parking was a joke and not connected to the hotel. The room booked wasn't available (I reserved a room with a pool view), staff said we upgraded you. We got to the room and the view was two piles of dirt and construction site, back down to reception they moved us to a view of the parking lot. The staff is not friendly and the place is run down. Needless to stay we checked out a day early and even though we discussed our issues they billed me for the second night. As a Hilton Honors Member this experience will cause me to think twice about ever staying at another Hilton.. They sent me a survey which I completed and requested to be contacted. The ultimate insult a form email.. Nice!
