May 22, 2026Worst hotel in the world -5 star
My son and daughter-in-law and three young children age between 9 and 1 went there . All were ill with gastroenteritis, my son got taken by ambulance to hospital . My dil couldn’t get out of bed but the hotel would not help with providing food or drink for the children . They had to send young children to the restaurant alone . I rang the hotel from the uk to ask for help. They put me on hold and then hung up 3 times . Room service wouldn’t help either and the TUI rep was useless . Avoid at all costs

The members rooms, pool, in restaurant are so great. ALL the staff are so friendly. This will be my 4th time there. All the staff remembered us and welcomed us back. All the restaurants were great enjoyed the tasty food. I enjoyed going at dinner to the hall to get a nightly specially drink. I love that each night is something different. I enjoyed all the pool activities. Go and book your trip and have a wonderful time.

Terrible experience
We closed our bedroom door put a do not disturb on the door and left for an all day excursion. When we came back there was a fruit plate in the living room and our bedroom door was open. They didn't come in for house cleaning so why were they in our room. Totally unacceptable! When we complained they said we have a safe we can put our valuables in! So, they are saying they have a right to enter our room because we have a safe! We left this hotel because we felt unsafe. Not only was this unacceptable but the food in the hotel was also terrible. Only one restaurant was decent the teppanyaki place. Everything else was bland. Don't waste your money or your vacation time on this resort. We went to a different resort and told them what happened, they said Grand Sirenis has the worst reputation on the island!

We stayed at Grand Sirenis Punta Cana for a week in May, from Wednesday to Wednesday. The hotel is extremely large, beautiful, and impeccably clean, with a lovely scent throughout. The staff is incredibly attentive and pleasant. Everything was perfect—truly a stunning resort, with a gorgeous, huge water park. The rooms were excellent, and the air conditioning was okay—not too cold, but comfortable. The views were lovely, and the TV worked well. Now, on the downside, the food was not varied. To get a good selection at the buffet, you have to arrive early—once items run out, they don’t restock. By the end, it’s mostly chicken and pork; no beef or shrimp to be found. Also, the à la carte restaurants are not open every day; one might open while another is closed, making reservations very difficult. Unfortunately, no one really helps you get those reservations. Overall, it’s a fantastic place, but with a bit more variety in food and easier booking for restaurants, it could be perfect!
- AdvisoryStarting January 1, 2026, Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya will replace nightclubs with outdoor nighttime activities in newly renovated venues. Guests can enjoy music and dancing at La Plaza in Punta Cana and Bar Breathe until 2:00 a.m. This change reflects evolving guest preferences for open-air experiences and marks a modern upgrade to the resorts’ entertainment offerings. Traditional nightclubs will remain open until December 31, 2025, before transitioning to this refreshed concept.
