My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in Grand Park Royal. The premises were well maintained, the cleaning staff did a wonderful job and were always polite. The beach was great even though we came during seaweed season. There were always vacant seats at the beach and adults only pool but the main pool was usually full (of towels) by 8am. I especially appreciated the care of and conversations with Edgar at Cafe Solé, Jose Mercedes at Cocay, and Felipe at Andiamo. Thank you all for letting me practice my beginner level Spanish. I had so much fun playing volleyball with Edu and Sain. They made me feel welcomed and they always had great energy. All the shows were good but Mexico night was the best for its dance, music, and food. Additional thanks to Ivan, Diana, and Yuliana at Cocay for the pleasant service. -Jeff from Toronto

Our visit is always top of the line!!
We enjoy going to this resort, we visit 1 to 2 times a year for 7-9 days. We continue to come back because of the employees who have become part of our family. We have relationships with both Royal Holiday trip advisors and Grand Park hotel staff. We were assisted by Oscar, Mario, and Joshua this time for accommodation and preview to upcoming changes to the property. Our stay in the Royal Tower, is our favorite. Our butler’s Jessica and Yahajira made sure our needs were always met. They helped us with planning our little excursions and spa adventures. I enjoy the food so much! The restaurants, buffet, snack bar, and cafe are always very clean and have great menus for my wife( a finicky palate) and me ( I will eat and try anything) we both leave satisfied. Our breakfast is usually in the buffet and we are always greeted with smiles from the hostesses Manuela, Diana, and Yosefina. We always ask for Ivan as our waiter, he’s one of our favorite people because he has been there since we started going to Cancun 12+ years ago. We love visiting our friends Xitali and Edgar in the snack bar a couple times a day. Most of our days are spent by the adult pool. Fanny and Fabina made sure we were well stocked with water and virgin daiquiris. Over all if you are looking for a 5 star resort this is the one.

Grand Park Royal Cancun
Just return from GPR - everything was excellent as usual! Everyone on the resort staff is very freindly and helpful. The service is excellent. The rooms are well laid out and always sptoless!

May 11, 2026Very relaxing vacation!
We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a pool attached to our room, which was so nice. Having food available any time of day was nice, and a decent variety, even though 2 of the restaurants were closed for construction. Only downside, they were very pushy with their timeshare meeting. There were a lot of things offered if we went, but I had been up for 13 hours and hadn't eaten, so I was frustrated and tired. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The bartenders by the pool were fabulous! Ivan at breakfast in the buffet was amazing, and Lily was a great concierge. If you stay near the lobby, or the main pool, buy ear plugs!! I could not fall asleep for all the bass from the music at night.

Very unhappy with this trip from check in ...;not one of my requests for rooms (3) to be on that same floor and no lower level room... to how much construction with restaurants and bars there were closed with no prior warning. Very disappointing when I am a repeat guest here often. I brought friends with me and bragged about choices for meals when almost everything was closed. Super disappointing
