  Wouldn’t go back

  Bar service was appalling, often dirty around pool. Food was always cold and little variety. Tv broken, safe broken, door key pad had to be changed twice, mould in bedroom and sink blocked. Had to repeatedly request mini bar be replenished. Room wasn’t always cleaned and sheets changed only once in a week!!

  We stayed at Grand Palladium Kantenah from May 15–18, and unfortunately, our experience was average at best, so I would rate this resort 3 stars. The resort itself is beautiful, very clean, and clearly well maintained. Most of the staff were friendly, courteous, and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our stay. The food was just average — I would rate it about 6 to 7 out of 10. While there was some variety, the overall quality did not meet expectations for a resort of this level. The beach was heavily affected by excessive sargassum during our stay, making it difficult to enjoy. While I understand this may be seasonal and not fully under the resort’s control, it was still disappointing. The biggest frustrations were related to logistics and service. Parking is far from the main resort area (it felt close to a mile away), and there is no valet service or shuttle pickup from the parking area, which is very inconvenient, especially when arriving with luggage. To make matters worse, there was no bell service available to assist with our bags, and we were assigned a room on the third floor with no elevator. Carrying large suitcases upstairs on our own was extremely inconvenient. Another major issue was the in-room safe, which did not work from the first day. We reported it immediately, but it was never repaired or addressed during our entire stay, which was both frustrating and concerning. Overall, the property itself is attractive and clean, and many staff members were kind, but the lack of attention to important guest services and logistical details made this a less pleasant experience.

  Not worth it.

  They make sure your all inclusive stays within a certain limit. Slow service means less refreshments and snacks. Unusable app means no need to provide room service. And a resort that runs out of towels not even by 1 pm! If this wasn’t for a family trip with kids, I would not have stayed here past the first night and gone next door.

  Relaxing, Beautiful, and Full of Kindness

  Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful — almost perfect. The resort is beautifully integrated into nature, surrounded by greenery, and simply stunning. It is the perfect place to relax, take long walks, visit the gym, enjoy the atmosphere, and completely unwind. What made this stay especially memorable, however, were the people behind the service. Honestly, I could mention almost everyone because the staff was absolutely amazing. The team is incredibly warm, friendly, and dedicated. Still, there are always a few special people who stand out even more: in the restaurant, Jacqueline, Victorica, and Nizza were exceptional, and at the pool bar Karla and Eduardo made every day even more enjoyable. There were also many others who were simply fantastic. These are the people who truly turn a hotel stay into a special experience, and I would sincerely like to thank them for their kindness, professionalism, and outstanding effort. There are just a few areas where improvements could still be made. In our opinion, the cleanliness in the restaurant and sometimes in the hallways of the buildings could be improved a little more. Regarding the food: during our stay the hotel was not fully booked, and while the kitchen staff clearly made an effort, the food did not always feel at the level expected from a five-star hotel. It was good average quality, but the selection repeated itself quite often from day to day. We always found something tasty, but it was not especially outstanding. Nevertheless, we would gladly return again to see whether a third stay might reach the exceptional standard we experienced during our first visit. This time it was not outstanding, but still very good and enjoyable overall.
