The Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa sits within gorgeous, meticulously tended gardens that, beautiful as they are, cannot prepare you for the jaw-dropping view of Shipwreck Beach as you enter the lobby. And that's just the start of your stay. The breakfast bar (included in our package) beats any I've ever encountered in any hotel, anywhere. Though I have no specific employee names to provide, every single staff member we encountered could not have been more pleasant and helpful. You could easily have a grand time without ever leaving the property, but you're in Kauai so don't do that!

Fantastic Family Vacation
Excellent service. Eric at front desk was exceptional. At the Grand Club, Erin created a special moment with our daughter and a Duke the parrot stuffed animal. Ana went above and beyond in the evening getting special cookies. Kindness and friendliness all around. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We loved the flexibility with the pool, saltwater lagoon, and beach all right next to one another.

A week in paradise
The Grand Hyatt Kauai absolutely paradise. From the moment you walk in and see the ocean peaking through the lobby to the pool side landscaping. The food at the resort is incredible. This was my second time visiting this resort. After I came in 2021 it was my goal to take my mom back with me. She loved it as well! Maybe I’ll be back a third time, who knows! Highly recommend :)

Top Notch Resort Experience.
Beautiful resort; friendly, accommodating staff, great experience! The breakfast buffet offered many options. Great meals at TidePools. The pools, lazy river and waterslide were great fun!

The hotel is great, but don't expect any care for Hyatt loyalty. The staff at the front desk do not have flexibility toward room upgrades when you're spending your Guest of Honor upgrade.
