    After 15 years, we are finally calling it quits.

    My wife and I used to love this property and never thought we’d go anywhere else, but it has consistently gone downhill since the new management took over. For the last 4 years, we kept giving it "one more chance," hoping it would turn around. Unfortunately, this last trip proved things are only getting worse. The breakdown of our experience: Severe Maintenance Issues: To kick off our stay, we were forced to change rooms 3 different times in just 2 days due to ongoing maintenance problems. Dealing with that chaos completely ruined the start of our vacation. The Restaurant & Booking System: The day we arrived, we tried to book a specialty restaurant only to be told they were already completely sold out for our entire stay. The app was useless, forcing us to eat at the buffet every night. The Food: The buffet felt like multi-reheated food that was exactly the same from night to night. The pool food was just as bad, and we constantly had to fight off birds picking through it. The only saving grace was the pizza at the pool area, which was very good. Entertainment: We were only allowed to attend one show, and it was one we had already seen before. To make matters worse, it was held outside in a light rain. We used to recommend this place to everyone. Now, we can't wait to try a new resort next year and see what we've been missing.

    LOVE THE GR SOLARIS

    I have been going almost every year to the GR Solaris never a bad time !! The food is great the location is great and the hotel and the whole outside area is SPOTLESS!! staff and the entertainment staff are EXCELLENT!! Shout out to Ruben and the rest of his entertainment co workers … Our waiter and waitresses in the dining area ( can’t remember all the names ). esp by poolside and to the woman who made my egg omelette every morning!!! OLIVIA!!!
