I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but my experience at Dreams Cancun was extremely disappointing. I previously stayed at Dreams in Mazatlán and had an amazing experience, which is exactly why I chose Dreams again for this trip. Unfortunately, this location completely ruined it for me. The customer service was terrible from the beginning. Employees were rude, communication was poor, and nobody seemed to care about fixing issues. I paid extra for a balloon surprise setup in my room for my partner and even tipped very well for the service. When we went upstairs, the balloons were already popped and maintenance staff were cleaning everything up right in front of us. The surprise was completely ruined. What made it worse was the front desk showed no urgency, no apology, and offered absolutely nothing for the inconvenience. The food was also disappointing. At one point I ordered a salad and they literally brought out an entire head of romaine lettuce uncut. That pretty much summed up the effort and quality we experienced throughout the stay. This trip honestly ruined my Cancun experience for me. I expected so much more from a Dreams resort, especially after loving the Mazatlán location. Sadly, I would not return to this property or recommend it to others.

They are targeting black peoples and accusing them of smoking in the rooms while also sending security into there rooms to harass them and pin things on.

Do not stay here
Please save the trouble and go to Dreams Natura if you are wanting a better experience and something close by. Valet damaged our car and failed to notify us, upgraded room was so cold, my family got sick, just terrible.

Stayed for 5 days, 4 nights in mid-May. Traveled with a group of 17 family members for my Uncle's Birthday. Staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. Even the guests were friendly. Special call-outs: Entertainment Team: Jayden and Alexander have been great! They always said hi to our group and made group activities fun. Dining: Jorge and Roberto were always available to answer questions throughout our stay and also helped to arrange special birthday dinner for my uncle. Restaurants were excellent. Even the buffet has been enjoyable each day with lots of options. Spa: Sandra, Antonio, Jessica, Estrella, Clarisa led us to a very enjoyable spa experience including sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and massage. The Mother's Day Package was well-worth it! Restaurants were excellent. We loved the variety at the buffet.
