May 06, 2026Lost a day and a half sick in my room
The resort is beautiful and it would have been the perfect vacation but unfortunately three quarters through the week I got sick. I have been to many dreams, now, secrets, sunscape resorts and have never been sick. There were actually quite a few people we ran into at this resort that were sick that week we were there. I don’t know if it came from the water, ice, or food. I always eat lots of fruits and vegetables on holidays and have ice in my drinks.

I give this resort 5 stars.
I have been to other Dreams resorts and spas but this one has a special ambiance and character that is unmatched. Yes, it is not a new resort but is has a classic style that will continue to provide enjoyment. Yes, the resort has some drawbacks, which does not. Judge it not by some minor drawbacks but on the quality of the stay this place offers.

What a Wonderful Week at Dreams Huatulco
We have been to Dreams Huatulco a few times and we were not disappointed with our experience once again. Huatulco is not as commercial or crowded as the Mayan Riviera and we like that. All the staff members were very helpful and friendly. The restaurants provided a variety of choice. The warm Pacific was so lovely to swim in. Our room was great and we used the hot tub on the terrace at the end of our beach time every day. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and our room was well taken care of daily. We stayed at the resort this time the last week that West Jet flew from Canada to Huatulco so things were winding down a bit but it was not an issue. The beach servers were also very efficient. We enjoyed and appreciated Eddie who served us over a few days. Sandy was also very helpful when we were looking for chairs under the umbrellas for shade. It was very hot when we were there, which we like. The umbrellas and light breezes helped to keep the high temperatures enjoyable. we had a very relaxing experience which is what we were looking for. Thanks again Dreams Huatulco.

Was an excellent trip!
Just got back from another wonderful trip to Dreams Huatulco. The staff are absolutely wonderful people! Alvaro is an absolutely amazing and genuine young man! Came to check on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. We sure hope to see them all again in 2027!
