  Worth a Visit

  Since there was a Passholder Discount, we took advantage of some great rates and tried a new resort. It is conveniently located close to the Riviera and Skyliner so plenty of choices for dining and park access. We loved the resort layout with many countries represented in clusters of building, pools and quick service dining. We stayed in Trinidad Bld 38. I only gave the location a 4 star because it was almost the furthest away from the main building and we were on the 2nd floor with only walk up. There was disney bussing and inter-resort shuttles and laundry just outside our building. Though there were only two of us, the room and bath was bright and clean, had a queen bed, couch bed and a pull down which could have easily slept 5. Everyone we came in contact with was a delight to deal with and we splattered cast compliments on the app all around. The main lobby was bustling with kid activities and disney movies. Coffee, sandwich, quick service and Sebastians a family style restaurant was also available. Would definitely stay there again just may rethink the room location. Enjoy!

  A suitable base

  The resort is okay and does what you need too. When we arrived we entered the main building but no one greeted us/indicated where check in. We stood near some rope and hoped that the unmanned desks were where we should be and waited for someone to come back. We got checked in and moved to Aruba. The room again was okay. The air con performs great- however, you couldn’t have it on overnight and all units seem to leak onto the paths outdoor. The unit for the tv is also for storage. The drawers wouldnt stay closed so we had to wedge things in to stop them hanging out and blocking your walkway. The doors into the bathroom area also wouldn’t stay closed so used a hair tie to wrap around. The curtains for the windows are too short and you can see outside. We used towels to block the gaps. The walls are pretty thin but potentially worse for us as he had an adjoining style room. Had to wait 45 minutes one night for a bus to magic kingdom for Mickeys Not so scary Halloween party so give yourself plenty of time. The Skyliner went down on our way back from Epcot so we had to walk to Yacht and Beach club and get an uber. Pools were good - beach towels are very much on the small side so I’d bring your own. Tv selection and WiFi good. Beds comfortable and free parking for guests all bonuses. The closest drinks block was about a 5 minute walk away

  Beware. This should be a value resort

  We recently stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and unfortunately this was easily the worst experience we’ve had at a Disney resort. We stayed in Aruba, room 5231. During our stay, the air conditioner leaked enough water into the room that we came back to find a shop vac running to remove water from the floor. There were also multiple other air-conditioning units along the walkway that appeared to be leaking. My wife and son were repeatedly congested while in the room but seemed fine when we were out at the parks. I contacted the resort about the issue and was told someone would come clean the AC. Housekeeping showed up, but the AC was never cleaned. I eventually wiped down the vents myself and found a significant amount of dust on them. To make matters worse, after dealing with the leaking AC and having a shop vac in our room, housekeeping later knocked on our door looking for the vacuum—even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign displayed. Someone had already picked it up earlier, and they ended up waking me up for absolutely no reason. On our final night, the air conditioner also developed a high-pitched noise that repeatedly woke me up. At that point, with only a few hours before we had to leave for the airport, there wasn’t much point in trying to have someone come into the room again. For the prices Disney charges for its resorts, I don’t think expecting a clean, dry, properly maintained room and being able to sleep without maintenance or housekeeping issues is unreasonable. We spent a significant amount of money on this vacation and expected much better from a Disney resort. Between the leaking AC, wet floor, dusty vents, congestion in the room, housekeeping issues, and AC noise on our final night, the room became one of the most frustrating parts of the entire trip. After this experience, I would not stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort again.

  Wonderful Family Holiday

  Overall a superb holiday, we stayed in Aruba very close to the sky liner so perfect for Hollywood and EPCOT and the buses were good for everywhere else. Got a top floor apartment as requested. Room was okay for a family of five. If I was really looking for an issue I would say some more seating in the dining area would have been handy. But there are plenty of ways round this. Would we come back, 100% we would, we loved it

  Fantastic Resort

  Perfect location for exploring the Disney Parks via Skyliner.We stayed in Aruba which is a few minutes walk of Riviera Skyliner station. Left takes you to EPCOT Right takes you to the Junction..Change for Hollywood,Pop and Animation resorts. Buses just past Bell services take you every where else.Water Parks Springs and Animal Kingdom. We used the Disney Dinning Plan across all parks. Food was great a good choice. Purchase a Refillable cup to for endless drinks..Good choice of sugar free. Aruba's rooms are a little dated but clean,air conditioned and comfortable and also a small fridge.The beds and pillows are amazing..believe me I tried to source the pillows here in the UK ..£157 Each.....We tried to be back by 9 most nights to be able to use Arubas own pool till 11pm when it closed. Like every Disney visit be prepared to do some mega walking so that pool will be very very welcoming at the end of each day. My opinion is... PERFECT LOCATION FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT. Its great for finding your feet. Staff are so helpful...If you need something or information just ask.
