We went to Ayami and had an amazing experience at the Habachi grill! Esteban put on a great show and Victor was very attentive. Overall an amazing service and Hendrisselys was very helpful in helping us get a spot right in front of the grill. 10/10.

Very disappointed with our stay at Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres. Catalonia is generally a well-known name, which made this experience even more disappointing. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we have had in Mexico. The resort is very large, but the level of service simply does not match. Customer service was poor throughout our stay, and the front desk in particular was extremely unwelcoming. Staff often came across as dismissive and uninterested, and any concerns or issues were met with attitude rather than an effort to help. The beach was another major disappointment. There was what appeared to be human feces floating in the water for several days, which was absolutely disgusting and ultimately forced us to use the pool instead. Beach seating was also uncomfortable, with very little shade and many chairs sitting directly in the sun. Food quality was poor, service was inconsistent, and overall the resort felt far below the standard we expected. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed our opinion of Catalonia, and we would not stay at another Catalonia property again.
