  Not bad but not great

  It was ok Live aqua is much better Pictures look nice but it did not live up to the same luxury as the cabo location which is top notch

  I am 50/50 on if I would go again

  I would probably stay here again. Our trip had a really rocky start. The first meal we had, I found a big worm in my salad. The staff did take it seriously.However we were never offered anything. Their solution was to have an employee.Follow us to every meal to make sure it didn't happen again. When you sign up for exhale club, you are assigned a concierge.That's supposed to give you a tour and go over all of the benefits of that with you. Our person never met us and never did this.So for the first four days of our trip, we missed out on all of the extra benefits that we paid for. When I finally realized how much we were missing out on and brought it up, they were extremely fast to deal with it. I was assigned a new concierge.Who would have given me the shirt off his back if I asked for it. But by then, this felt a little too little too late.Because it was our last day of the trip. We were offered a romantic dinner private on the beach. Sounds lovely and we did enjoy it. However, there was trash an empty glasses left on the cabana thing they do it on. The table was also balanced on a cork, which fell over multiple times and caused the whole table to collapse.Multiple times. It's built an entire glass of wine all over my boyfriend and the servers never said anything or offered to help put the table back together. My advice would be if you are going, which you probably should go, be very vocal and be proactive in asking questions in messaging, your concierge significantly asking about all the benefits and all the daily events.Because we missed out on a lot

  Third time here. Each time less appealing. Likely last time.

  Third time to breathless. Most likely our last. We had a renovated swim up room that was nice. Made and mini bar service were great.Poolside and beachside drink service were good. The resort is very well maintained and clean. The drinks were good and not watered down like some resorts. There are many bars. the downside is. It was boring. The atmosphere had unrecognizable music and hardly any involvement with anything during the day. The parties they had at night time had really good to be fun however there was not any music that my wife or I liked or what anybody there did. It was hard to dance music you do not know. I understand they like to share their culture in their music, but there is a time for that. If you want to get a started you play 80s, 90s, recent hip-hop. If you play pour some sugar on me, the crowd will erupt. there just was not a lot to do. no activities during the day. If you were not into yoga or spinning in the pool in the morning there was nothing for you. No small games to get you involved during the day. All we did was float around and drink. That is great, but there could be more things to do to have fun. about half of the staff seemed depressed or angry, or annoyed. Especially the bartenders outside of the main bar. A lot of times it was hard to make eye contact with staff that walked by. The food at the buffet was average at best. The specialty restaurants had food that was good however a very limited menu. Even less gluten-freeoptions, especially on the buffet. the beach was nice and they do an amazing job with the sargassum. it is very cool that you can go to the neighboring resort and use their restaurants and events. We spent more time in the evening there. overall it was not an exciting time. Relaxing but uneventful. Do not see us coming back. There are better places.

  Perfect young adult resort !

  Breathless honesty exceeded my expectations. The resort is clean and was surprisingly not super crowded which is one of the best parts compared to other resorts I’ve been too. I was able to get a chair near the pool at any time of the day. the two pools are both great one geared towards a party atmosphere with people who are definitely into alcohol and dancing. The other pool is huge and quieter for those who want to relax and tan. The one pool has a dj later in the day which is great for party people. Service at every bar was quick and overall good. You can actually taste the alcohol in a lot of their drinks as well which you don’t always get at all inclusives. We never had to wait for dinner and lots of options for restaurants although every restaurant is not open every day. The food was very good almost everywhere. Service was slow at some restaurants but pretty typical to island time. We did the exhale club which was nice to have your own sit down restaurant for lunch and breakfast. I would say this resort is very much geared towards party people although my sister and I still had a wonderful time. There were plenty of older adults at the resort as well but if your looking for a quiet trip I would not pick breathless. The resort was beautiful, clean and fun!! I would definitely recommend.

  Great time 3rd visit

  We have stayed in many hotels in punta cana but breathless is the best by far We have been 3 times and never had a bad experience, the food is always lovely and the staff go out of their way to make sure your happy Great entertainment, a good mix of age groups if you want to party there’s a lively pool or you can chill at the main pool or the beach It’s good to visit onxy next door the restaurants are great there too Rooms are a bit dated but clean and everything you need We will return
