  Loved it

  Lovely property. Can't wait to return. Food and staff were amazing and the pools rocked! Spa was also a lovely experience.

  Okay

  It's ok but a little boring. Ok, just for relaxation. No, party resort. Exhale club is not worth the money. Need a little more night life. Will try other Breathless but not Breathless Soul Cancun.

  Great food & great mattress!

  Excellent food! Very comfortable bed! Great white sand beach! Friendly staff. However they use key cards not key bracelets- key cards kept deactivating. Wasn’t the party scene from a few years ago. Great gym.

  Terrible food & drink

  Stayed for 5 days, Food was genuinely terrible. Each restaurant was disappointing & I’ve never been as unable to finish meals as I did here. Bolognese at Spumante was chef Boyardee tomato sauce over salted with iodized salt, no butter, little cheese, overcooked pasta. Beef carpaccio was good. For being in Mexico, Picante produced little outside of the ceviche that was authentic & delicious, & the mole served was so aggressive with the cinnamon that it was uncomfortable eating. At every restaurant every day the “catch of the day” was Tilapia. Buffet was more miss than hit, terrible coffee & poke bowls were loaded up with a grand total of two medium diced pieces of tuna. The cafe just outside the buffet had a consistent array of some pretty delicious desserts Bartenders produced the most watered down drinks I’ve ever had, you could drink 50 margaritas a day & be fine. Several times at several bars when our group got tired of drinking mostly mixer for the cocktails, we’d try and order shots. Your liquor of choice would be poured into a shaker with ice and water and stirred before pouring into the glass. Rooms were nice, service staff kept them clean but never restocked the fridge. We had three rooms on three floors & didn’t even get water restocked at any point during the stay. Overall, There are better & more satisfying places to spend your money. Or, endure mostly garbage.

  Disappointed

  Overall, we were disappointed with our stay. Having previously visited Breathless Montego Bay, we arrived with high expectations, but from the moment we checked in it felt like a constant sales pitch upgrades, timeshare conversations, the island. It was relentless, and “not interested” didn’t seem to be accepted as an answer. Dinner service was the biggest let‑down. On one evening, only three of the eight restaurants were open, and despite arriving early we still waited two hours for a table for two. Another night, after a full day excursion in the sun, we were exhausted and hoping for a quick meal, but the staff laughed when we asked about the wait time. When we finally did get seated, half the tables were empty and guests around us were also commenting on the poor service and limited options. The only evening we genuinely enjoyed was when Spoons buffet was opened the food was good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and it made us wonder why this wasn’t offered every night. The rooms were clean, but we had to keep phoning to ask for water to be supplied into our fridge. The one positive during our stay was the staff. Kevin at the pool bar was outstanding, and the ladies who welcomed us at breakfast each morning were genuinely warm and friendly. Their kindness stood out in an otherwise disappointing experience. Sadly, the overall experience didn’t match the standard we’ve known from the brand, and we left feeling disappointed.
