If beach holidays are your thing then you will not find much better than this hotel. The beach / sea is the real diamond within this resort. Early in the morning, just after sunrise is the most beautiful view you will see. The sunsets are stunning. The staff are so polite and welcoming and always attentive and they work so hard to make your stay memorable. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. We stayed in a beachfront honeymoon suite in building 4 and were literally just a few feet away from the beach. The room probably did need a little TLC but so does every single other hotel room we’ve stayed in, and certainly not enough to make us feel we weren’t getting value for our money. The suite was huge and well presented. The food options were wide and varied. The buffet always had lots of options, plus the burger bar, the daily beach grills, the coffee shop and the specialty Jamaican, Italian and Asian restaurants. Not all speciality restaurants were open at the same time every day but we always had plenty of options. There are multiple pools all cleaned and looked after daily. Some parts of the grounds do need repairs such as the decking areas close to Amber bar and pool between buildings 3/4, but let’s not forget it was only 6 months ago that this island was battered by a major hurricane and some things will take longer to fix than others. The beach is open and you will get people trying to sell to you. A polite no is sufficient and they will move on. They will not try to make you feel uncomfortable. Quite the opposite Sunloungers were always available and the lifeguards were always on hand to help you out move them to wherever you wanted to stay. We will 100% return to this resort at some point in the future

NO Sargassum- Beautiful Beach- Accommodating Staff
Beach AMAZING- NO Sargassum. If you are looking for a beach front resort this is your place! My husband and I travel to the Caribbean a few times a year. We are definitely beach people. Our only wants are clean comfortable bed, spacious room (we had a honeymoon beachfront), beautiful beach with comfortable loungers, decent food options (including room service), and hassle-free beach towels. We found all of those here. Food- many daily options from buffet (shout out to Marion staff at breakfast and lunch-who was always ready with our usual orders), jerk chicken station, burger bar, and coffee bar including snacks and soft serve. Evening dining- many restaurants to choose from-our favorite was the Asian. Most importantly is the accommodating staff who would ask daily if there were any wants or needs. Our bartenders TINA and SHERYL were over the top. They were attentive to all and friendly and happy throughout our stay. We enjoyed hanging with them daily. Lifeguards Lemar and Kemar who kept us safe and always helpful with lounger. Cons- could use some cosmetics inside and out but remember they are still recovering from the major hurricane they endured in October. We gave them a pass on this. Enjoy!

My daughter and I visited through Tui in May.After a long journey from the airport ,private transfer with Luxurious Carib Tours $80 US one way we finally arrived to a rainy Negril afternoon . Check in was a bit slow but then everything is on Jamaican time , they dont move fast here !!! We were escorted to our swim up room 11003 in Block 1. Great view of the sea and great to step down into the pool , and of course to grab a drink from the swim up bar .Room definitely needed an upgrade , the whole of block 1 and 2 inside and out . It may have been great in 2013 when Karisma did a full refurb but nothings been done since .sofas and loungers on our patio were covered in black mould. To be honest room , bedding and bathroom were all clean and we only sleep and get changed here . Food at the buffet was atrocious and no better in all the restaurants ,best food was lunchtime jerk on the beach ,breakfast was soso.We ended up eating out every evening and taking a taxi to 7 mile .Recommend the crab and lobster shack next door on the beach best lobster ever .Also take a stroll over to the Boardwalk Village restaurant .We also loved Miss Lilys at Skylark and of course Best in the West for jerk at the side of the road .Just flag a red plate taxi and do a deal .The boys on the beach are amazing and they made our stay , we left as friends ,if you tip they look after you well only a couple of $ a day and a bottle of water, no shortage of towels anywhere. The beach is stunning and we looked forward to an early morning dip.Evening Entertainment was interesting , Michael Jackson was the best , the rest was very holiday campish !! .The staff make this hotel so friendly and welcoming but you have to treat it as a 3* and the food and drink as 2*.We wouldn’t return as I have also stayed at Coco la Palm further down 7mile and its 100% better deal on b&b and more beach bars and restaurants close by .If youre thinking of Negril then stay near Coco.Azul is totally on its own so your limited to going out and about without taxi .Karisma please pull your finger out and rethink the food , drink quality and the overall appearance of some of the room blocks and rooms , this is on an amazing site and could do so much better . Not sure why Tui has it on their list to be honest . Sorry but next time we will be back at Coco la Palm

Beautiful beach, friendly staff, great food, and one truly exceptional staff.
We stayed at Azul Beach Resort Negril at the end of April and had a fantastic holiday overall. On arrival the resort felt very calm and relaxed, which we personally loved. Check-in was smooth, we received a welcome drink and cold towel, and staff explained the layout of the resort well. We stayed in a swim-up room in Block 1. The room was clean, comfortable, and included welcome chocolates and a bottle of rum. A little maintenance is needed in places, and the ants around the outdoor cabana area were annoying, but overall the room was absolutely fine. Food options were very good even during the quieter season. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian — both the food and service were excellent. The buffet always had plenty of choice, especially at breakfast, and we also enjoyed the jerk chicken BBQ on the beach during the day. The beach is absolutely stunning — white sand, crystal clear water, and postcard-perfect views, especially early in the morning. We never struggled to get towels or sunbeds during our stay. The entertainment team also worked incredibly hard and created a really fun atmosphere in the evenings. Karaoke and the silent disco were highlights for us. However, the biggest reason this holiday felt special for us was the staff, particularly Damian. He looked after us on several occasions, including our beach dinner evening, and honestly provided some of the best service we have experienced on any holiday. Damian had the perfect balance of professionalism, humor, attentiveness, and genuine kindness. He made every meal feel relaxed and enjoyable, always remembered us, took time to chat properly, and clearly takes real pride in what he does. Staff like him are a huge asset to this resort and genuinely make guests want to return. We also want to mention Clive in the Italian restaurant, who was fantastic throughout our stay. There are still a few cosmetic areas around the resort that need attention, but it was clear improvements and repairs were ongoing during our visit. Overall, if you want a relaxed Caribbean holiday with beautiful scenery, friendly people, good food, and amazing staff, we would definitely recommend Azul Beach Resort Negril.
