May 18, 2026Beach Front and Budget Friendly
This was our first time visiting Waikiki and our main goal was to be close to the beach - We knew we didn't want a big resort because we wanted to spend all our time either on the beach or exploring the island. The Circle Hotel fit our needs. The rooms are small, the beds are only a full size, but your are as close to the beach as one can get. You have a Keurig coffee pot with pods and creamer provided. The room was clean and the hotel felt safe. There is a small cafe located downstairs and a Mcdonalds immediately next door. One morning I used the McDs app to order coffee and breakfast and we were able to enjoy it on our beach view patio. As for the room categories. A partial view will give you a peak of the ocean off to the side - not a full view. A beach view gives you a full view at a slight angle and the beach front is self explanatory. We chose the beach view and were very happy with our choice. We were on the 7th floor so we didn't have trees blocking our view nor noise for the busy street between the hotel and the beach. Everything in Waikiki is within walking distance and The Circle puts you right in the middle of it. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Lots of hidden fees, very shady. 30$ extra for free "amenities" and 70$ a night for parking. Ridiculous. Nice location if the fees weren't hidden/ so high.

Hotel was extremely dirty. Green things on the shower head, staff was dismissive and rude. Although the location was nice, I would highly recommend you go elsewhere, as the price point is not worth the cost.

The location of this hotel truly couldn’t be better. While the hotel itself feels a bit outdated and doesn’t offer the same amenities you’d find at some of the larger hotels, the unbeatable location is what really makes this place shine. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

The view from the room was amazing. The staff member who spoke Japanese was very kind and helpful. I felt very reassured and at ease during my stay. I also lost one of my key cards, but there was no penalty, and a female staff member was very kind and helpful, which I greatly appreciated.I would like to use your service again next time.
